Happy Birthday Dr.Suess
March is Dr. Seuss's birthday, so I had the 2nd graders recreate their own fish in the style of Dr. Seuss's from the story "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" We completed this project in two class sessions. The first one, we sketched and painted the fish and then in the second period we traced the with black marker, animated them with lines, cut them out and glued them down.

City Skylines
This week the 2nd Graders are finishing up their city skylines. Even though we live in a large city- some of them have never seen the skyline! We start at the very beginning - horizontal, vertical horizon line, contour.....
