Furry Flurries

(Thursday outfit)
It has snowed all day today! I just got home from shopping and now it's time to relax and stay cozy. Here is my 3 outfits from the last three days. I have lots of finds to share with you so I will post some soon.
 (Friday outfit)
I have been feeling "REALLY FESTIVE" *lol* Obviously I am sure you can tell. When I wake up in the morning I pretty much want to dress like a Christmas Elf.

I restrained myself today. And decided not to do a theme red and green. But I might go back to that Tomorrow. *laugh*
This was the first time I was able to wear this late 60s maxi dress. It was a little too small before but now it fits like a little vintage dream.
*Snowy Path*

Here's the dresses tag. *hehehe* Isn't it cute? "I am a PUSSY CAT"
Speaking of Pussy cats...
On Thursday my Mom and I went and visited a family friend. She has a cute Cat named Kit Kat.
Kit Kat was a homeless kitty she took in,  and now lives a lavish life and is spoiled rotten.
She has long shiny silky black fur.... but the most cutest part of Kit Kat is her feet.

The white fur on her toes is EXTRA long, she has little puffy fluff feet!
I hope you are all ready for Christmas. Because now it's just RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER.
We have a tradition in our family to go out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve. I cannot WAIT!!
*Laughs* I will take some pics at the Chinese buffet.
P.S. I plan to go dressed in Red and Green (I am just warning you)

Celebrating with cajun taco salad in a yellow sundress and helmet

(Me . Mr. Coco . My cute little cousin "Barely visible" and my 6'5" cousin whom I disguised in a fake mustache and sunglasses. *lol*)

The past week and a half has been a busy one. I have had my Grandma, Aunt & Uncle and two cousins down for 8 days. (They live in another province of Canada and I usually only get to see them every couple of years.) They arrived on Monday the 23 of July and just left on Tuesday afternoon.
I had no time to blog while they were down really. We did lots of shopping celebrated my Aunt and Uncles 27th wedding Anniversary and we even ALL went Garage saling on Saturday. We had a 3 car line that also included my parents. *hahah* When we all pulled up the people had a real busy garage sales..... when we were done we all walked back down the driveway at the same time. *HAH* it looked quite funny.

This is what I wore to my Uncle and Aunties Anniversary dinner. It's a bright yellow 80's sundress. It has black buttons that go all the way down the one side.
I am going to count this as a Frock on Friday dress as I am totally behind on my frocking up!!!

I made the the orange flower clip that's in my hair. I love it!! It sort of has a pom pom look to it.

This was my dinner a Cajun chicken taco salad. (One of the lowest calorie items on the menu.)
Thank God it's one of my favorites!!!

I was so proud of my Arnold Schwarzenegger Commando action figure that I purchased for $3 at a garage sale. I JUST had to get a pic with him before we continued on saling.
He even came with his machine gun and a little gun too.

My Hello Kitty phone case arrived. It's larger than my Rilakkuma and quite chunky (But the cuteness makes up for it! Plus it still fits in most of my purse pockets.)

I found this adorable little plush at Value Village for $1.99
I also found a cool Japanese robe (But it's in the wash so I will show it soon.)

Purchased at a liquidation store for $3.99 I just couldn't resist these Pj shorts by American Eagle.

I found this resin coral pendant on sale at Michael's craft store for $2.99 (Reg. $7) *SHEESH* I would have never paid that!!!
I think $2.99 is a great deal. I am going to add it to a string of shells I have,  rather than on a chain. At least for the rest of summer. There is some good clearance sales going on at Michael's if you have one near you. I am waiting to get paid so I can go back and pick up a few other items I seen on a great discount price but didn't have the cash for. *Crosses fingers some will still be there*

Here is me last night on my bike ride. It's getting dark earlier we usually ride in the light... but dusk hit faster than we were expecting. *EEEP* days are getting shorter!
In my previous post I talked about how I had gained unwanted pounds and was trying to get into a routine that incorporated exercise AT LEAST 3 times a week. Well I have been doing VERY good with that. I almost feel as if something is missing if I don't get in some physical activity. So far I have lost 5 pounds. *WOOHOO WOOHOO*
It's very easy to give up on trying to lose weight when you don't see any results at all. BUT sometimes when your not losing pounds you are losing inches and today when I measured myself I saw I have lost a half inch in most places since I last took my measurements on July 6th.

"If you are planning on losing weight, make sure you weigh yourself, take your current measurements & take a before photo. That way when you are not seeing results on your scale you will have other ways of knowing what's going on with your body."

You didn't think I ride without a helmet did you???

This is my Helmet I ordered from Japan a month and a half back. I LOVE it even if I do look like a big kid. *HAHAHAHA*
Every time I pass another cyclist they have to see Hello Kitty staring back at them.
=D
I wonder what they think....
*Hah*

I have more vintage purchases to show you very soon. I just need to take the pictures.
Now that company's gone the house is EERILY SILENT!! It's taking me a little bit to adapt back to normalcy.

Hawaiian Parrots on my patio

Hello: Happy Friday! Here I am in a Hawaiian dress I found for $4.99 at Value Village.
I also found the huge delightful parrot & shell necklace for $5.99 (That is more than I usually pay, but lately in thrifts and online they usually start out at about $15.00 so I just "Told myself" I was getting a deal.) "OH WHAT'S THAT IN THE CHAIR ON THE RIGHT??
OMG!! It's another one of those bags... Price was $2.00 and I thought it was hilarious I found a second one.

Remember the first one I found last month?

"Ohhhh the EXCITEMENT"

I am thrilled and Jersey doesn't seem to know what the hecks so exciting!!
I wonder if I will find another....

"Bleeaaauurgh"

I suppose a belt would look good with this dress trouble is I was in a huge rush to take these pics before Mr. Coco got off work.

Awesome starfish shoes!
$1.00 at a Liquidation outlet

The Parrot necklace

I imagine this is one of Vanessa's from  Two Squirrels friends!
He has been hanging out in my Maple tree spying on me the past couple days. He likes to run along our fence and eat nuts all day long. He also has staring contests with Jersey my Boxer dog.
 I named him Acorn...

Have a delightful Weekend

The bright crazy intricate designed dress

I did a HORRIBLE job of Frocking this Friday. I did wear a frock trouble is... I only took two darn pictures. And I didn't even get the whole darn dress!! (That's your fault Mr.)
I was very rushed today as Mr. still had to go do his last shift before the weekend. So I rushed out the door to go to the "Bag sale" Thrift. I didn't find too much this time. These pics were taken in front of a cute old house on the same street as bag sale. (I love that little front porch area.)
I bought this dress in a (Buy 1 get one free sale) The total was $5.00 so I suppose I paid $2.50
I am crazy about this big giant ring. It makes me think of black licorice whenever I wear it.
Here is the daisy headband I got from Des. http://pullyoursoxup.blogspot.ca/
When I look at this picture it creeps me out. I think it has a weird trance vibe to it. It has to do with my eyes and the top leaves on the headband... "YOU ARE GETTING VERY SLEEPY STARE INTO MY EYES"
*GAHHHHHHH*
Am I crazy or do you get what I am saying?

(I adore this headband so much!! I have always loved Daisies)
I wore a daisy hair flower almost all last summer.
I have a purple dress I want to wear this one with. It was too wrinkled to frock up into today. But that's probably a good thing since I totally didn't snap much pics.
This is the one Mom wore Yesterday in her Birthday photo.
Thank you all for wishing her a Happy Birthday I am going to get her to read your comments soon. (I know she will be thrilled with the ones saying her and I look alike...) because I used to always swear I was adopted. Most people don't see a resembelance between My Mom & Dad and I.
Fuzzy photo but this headband is very pretty. The whole base is green leaves and then the roses on top!
Thank you very much Des & Stylist for doing your fun little giveaway & for the Stylist pulling out my name!!! *WOOOT WOOOT*
Something else came to Canada for me this week.
It was a gift from Em!!
(I love cute packaging)
Em sent me a LOBSTER, PRAWN, CLAM, SHELL apron she bought at Kylie's garage sale!!!
OMG!!! I love it immensely. I am going to wear it the next time I bake (Which will have to be soon now) Also in the package was those red & black leopard earrings. I loved the card... and instantly thought "mmmm Tomato soup" Then I realized... it wasn't soup... it was tea! *hhaha*
Thank you Em!
Lastly thank you to those who became a "Liker" on my Facebook store page.
I was having a horrible time figuring out how to do and work all the stuff on there. (Then I finally realized) I was supposed to have a "Personal facebook account" So I could be (A Administrator to the page.) So all in all I had to create ANOTHER facebook account so I could actually properly run that page and "LIKE" other businesses and stuff.
My name on there is Melanie Sparkle. I tried Melanie Coconut and I got a message saying (They didn't think that that was a legitimate name.) But yet ... I tried Melanie Sparkle... and it worked like a charm. *LOL* *Roll eyes*
~* Have a good weekend Everyone *~
