Hey! Check out my RAK!

I know I don't do this meme very often. Plus, I think I'm doing it on the wrong day. Eh... I'm a rebel. ;) Anyhoo... I thought you'd like to check out my RAK! Uh, no... not that (dirty minded peeps... no wonder we get along...) but my Random Act of Kindness that was given to me by the awesomesauce Kristi!!
The Book Faery
She gave unto me these ebooks:
Shadows (Lux 0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.

Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.

Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.

Captivated. Lured. Loved.

Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence...and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
AND...
Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Starting over sucks. When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.And then he opened his mouth.Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot alien living next door marks me.You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. If I don't kill him first, that is.

Can I get a squee????
I swear Kristi is so sweet and kind! I've been lusting after these books for a bit now but just didn't quite get to them. I can't wait to dive into the books.

Thank you Kristi!

In My Mailbox!

Meme hosted by The Story Siren

Okay, many of you know that I rarely do this meme. EXCEPT when I have something so epic that I SQUEE! So, recently, I got this in my mailbox:
That alone was enough to make me squee! This is Alyssa and her mom's SIGNED book! YES!
However, I got one of the most EPIC swag packs EVAR!!
Oh I was going to show pics, but just realized that since they are wrapped like pressies, I shouldn't.
*shame face*
So, I'm going to do another post much later with the swag.

Just trust me... it is SO AWESOME!!

Oh all this makes me want to stop the book I'm reading and dive into this one! I'm so curious now!!!
Well, you also don't have to wait. The book is available now. You can find it at Amazon in print and in ebook format.
I mean $2.99 for the ebook? Epic, right?
Oh and if you are drooling over my swag package (go away! It's mine! ;D) There is currently 2 INTERNATIONAL giveaways going on. One is at the book blog Alyssa shares with her brothers. I think they are vying for more credit.
The second is at Alyssa and Eileen's website:

Last thing for me to say...
THANK YOU ALYSSA AND EILEEN!! YOU BOTH ROCK!!

For seventeen-year-old Aurora Lahey, survival is a lifestyle.

DEMONIC DESTINY
Aurora has the crappiest superpower on the planet. And it’s just unleashed a hit squad from hell. Demons are on the hunt, salivating to carve her carcass into confetti.

CHARISMATIC KILLERS
The Hex Boys—mysterious, hunky, and notorious for their trails of destruction—have the answers Aurora needs to survive. But their overload of deadly secrets and suspicious motives makes trusting them a potentially fatal move.

LETHAL ALLIES
The battle to save her family, herself, and stop demonic domination may cost Aurora everything worth living for, and force her to reveal her own dark secrets. But no worries. She needs the Hex Boys to pull this off, and, chances are, teaming up with these guys will get her killed anyway.

In My Mailbox!

I just had to show what came in my mailbox today! I had won a Linger tank top from the tweet-up with Maggie Stiefvater and The Story Siren. Just thought I'd share. Thought it was too cute. :) Now where is my book? Still needing to come to me. I finally got to order it thanks to Melissa of My World in Words and Pages. I won a gc at her web site and bought the book! :)

Oh, and please don't be jealous... I found something for you too... I have this book on my tbr and will hopefully get to it soon. Guess what? It's free at B&N for those with Nooks and the app.
Shadow BoundSo, here is a look at the cover and the direct link (no I don't get any credit for it...) is HERE! It's only for a limited time so hurry!
Marked

I also just found out that for Free Friday (today only) at B&N they are giving away this ebook for free as well. The direct link for that one is HERE! Woo! Two free books! Me like! :)

I also just found this book by Ilona Andrews at Smashwords. The link is HERE. It's a collection of companion stories to go with the Kate Daniels series. In fact the description at Smashwords is:
This isn't a short story or a novella. This is a collection of scenes written by Gordon Andrews as a companion to our Kate Daniels series of books. These scenes illustrate the point of view of Curran, the Beast Lord of Atlanta and are provided in gratitude to our readers for all of their support. This collection isn't meant to stand on its own as an independent work of fiction.

I've been so wanting to get to that series. Now I'll have the companion book when I do! :)

In My Mailbox!

Normally I don't do this meme and was planing on doing a review, but I just received this in my mailbox today!
I just got this signed hardback book from Cindy Pon! I also got two of the cutest cards from her Etsy shop

Aren't those just the neatest cards? And those that have never tried this type of painting, I can tell you that it is a very hard to master. There are certain strokes for certain types of items (like the bamboo leaves). Plus, these cards are much nicer in person. :) I won these as part of the Supernatural Underground giveaway from the author. If you'd like to learn more about the author just go to her website, or find her on twitter

Thank you Cindy Pon!
