Description

Fugeo! is a Mexican standoff game that will be released on November 16th. It's features a number of game modes including an online versus mode which should be the spotlight of this game.

In Fugeo you place banditos strategically to rob banks. If the bandito shoots the bank then you get the gold from. If your bandito is shot by an opposing player then they take that gold from you. This is a pretty interesting mechanic because after placing banditos the scenario will play out and you can only watch.

If you cannot find an online match there is plenty to do offline. There is an included puzzle mode which is the closest thing the game has to a story mode. There is also an AI skirmish mode to simulate online play but with an AI.

There are many puzzles and they get to be quite challenging. The AI is also not too bad.

The game has a great art style. All the banditos are animals and each tier of bandito features detailed banners and portraits.

While the gameplay is simple to understand there is a good deal of complexity that emerges from the fine points of the gameplay.

I enjoy music, but I think it is a bit repetitive. In the puzzle mode there does not seem to be a way to speed things up.

Overall this is a pretty fun game and if it picks up a strong online presence #fuego could have a pretty long life.
