-[ La Historia del Juego ]-

El pequeño pueblo a orillas del lago Toluca llamado Silent Hill fue una vez un popular reclamo para turistas, pero ahora ha caído en una inquietante desolación. Su época de máximo esplendor pasó hace mucho tiempo, mientras que los recuerdos de un trágico incendio que engullo a casi la mitad del pueblo siete años atrás aun perduran en el recuerdo de las localidades más cercanas. Es uno de los muchos sucesos de desgracias que contiene la historia de Silent Hill. Para el pueblo la temporada turística ha terminado, aunque esta vez para siempre: Silent Hill esta muerto.
