I didn't realize that the co-op was the main point of the game becuase when I hit campiagn i fidured it would be the mainstory and part of the game for singleplayer experience. From what you explained its all about the co-op. It would also explain why it was so difficult after a certian point in the game on normal if your suppose to be revived by others.
The Menu and the fact that you're dropped into the single player map gives a wrong impression.
Sadly they don't communicate the cool background to this level either. It's supposed to be training reenactment of a historic mission and the robots are combat training robots, as surrogates for the inhabitants of this research facility, who went totally manic and agressive for some reason. The audio logs reveal what happened prior to that.
The core game mode atm would be the Neurogen map in coop. Like other coop games (the mentioned L4D for example) this game does not really have a single player mode, that's not actually just training for the multiplayer experience.
I find it odd, that you would call this "review" when you do not even check out the core game mode.
