Plot
  • Players take on the role of Ethan Winters, a young man who receives a letter from his wife Mia, who supposedly "died" in 2014.

  • In 2017, Ethan travels to an abandoned plantation in Louisiana, Dalvey. After exploring a seemingly abandoned house, Ethan finds Mia imprisoned in the basement. During the escape, Mia becomes possessed and attacks Ethan with superhuman strength.

  • After killing Mia, Ethan receives a call from a woman named Zoe who offers her help.

  • Ethan meets his wife again and is attacked again. After Mia is defeated, Ethan is stunned by Jack Baker.

  • Ethan wakes up at the dinner table, where the entire Baker family is sitting: Jack Baker, his wife Margaret, their son Lucas and an elderly woman in a wheelchair.

  • When the entire Baker family leaves the premises, Ethan manages to free himself. While searching for the necessary items, Ethan repeatedly encounters Jack, who demonstrates incredible regeneration, recovering from any wounds, including shots to the head, severe burns and dismemberment.

  • Zoe contacts Ethan again, revealing that she, her family, and Mia are infected with an unknown disease, but it can be neutralized using a special serum.

  • Ethan goes to the old house to get ingredients for the serum. In a forced fight, he kills Margaret.

  • After discovering all the ingredients, Ethan begins to experience visions of an unknown young girl. Lucas kidnaps Zoe and Mia. To save the girls, Ethan is forced to go into a booby-trapped barn.

  • Zoe creates two ampoules of the serum, which should have been enough for Zoe and Mia, but Ethan has to use one ampoule on the heavily mutated Jack in order to kill him forever.

  • After Jack's death, Ethan must choose which girl will take the serum.
1) If Ethan chooses Mia, Zoe says goodbye to him and Mia. Sailing past the tanker on which Mia and Evelina arrived, an unknown creature will attack the boat.

Now the player is given the opportunity to control Mia. She heads to the crashed ship to find Ethan. Eventually, Mia's memory will be restored, revealing that she was on a covert operation. Mia, while accompanying Evilina, was infected by her in an attempt to force her to be her mother. After finding Ethan, Mia gives him a vial of genetic material. If Ethan healed Zoey, Mia will succumb to Evelina's control and attack Ethan, causing him to kill her for good.

After leaving the ship, Ethan discovers a hidden laboratory inside an abandoned salt mine. There he learns that Evelyn is a bioweapon capable of infecting people with a psychotropic form, which gives her control over the consciousness of her victims, as a result of their madness, superhuman regenerative abilities, as well as various mutations, which makes them extremely dangerous opponents. Evelina is obsessed with the idea of having a family. Using laboratory equipment and Evelina's genetic material, Ethan synthesizes a necrotoxin capable of killing her and then passes through a series of tunnels that lead to the Baker home. Evilina attacks Ethan causing hallucinations, but he overcomes them and injects Evelina with necrotoxin. Evelina mutates into a huge monster, which contributes to the arrival of a military detachment, who throw weapons at Ethan to defend themselves. Ethan defeats her. If Ethan does not cure Mia, he throws his phone from the helicopter containing her last message, saying goodbye. If Mia was cured, she is found alive aboard Redfield's helicopter. The helicopter flies away.
2) If you choose Zoya. Mia, heartbroken, remains on the dock, although Ethan promises to send help. On the boat, Zoe reveals that everyone was infected after Jack saved Mia and a girl named Evelina after a tanker crashed in the swamps. In order to prevent their escape, Evelina kills Zoe and the creature capsizes the boat.

Treasures
  1. The first photo can be found in the basement of the main house, where Jack is encountered a second time. It is located in the technological area, west of the incinerator, on a shelf next to the Scorpion Key.

Once with the photograph, go back to the first floor and go to the main hall, entering the secret passage behind the eagle painting. When you reach the living room, go to the fireplace and examine a loose stone in the upper right corner. Behind it, you'll find the treasure.

  2. The second photo was found near the old house. As you approach the trailer, go to the entrance on the right, leading to the stairs. Before you start climbing, stop and look to your left: you will see a photo stuck in the vineyards.

To get the treasure, go back and go to the trailer. When you get there, turn left and go to the bathroom. The ammunition will be inside the toilet.

  3. At some point in the game you will receive the Snake Key. Go to the living room of the main house and go up to the second floor. You will now be able to unlock the master bedroom. The third photo will be in the deposit, on a stool next to the counter where cleaning supplies are stored.

With the photo, go to the third house, which is close to the trailer (you will need two cards to enter). In one of the rooms, you will see a cage with a mannequin head wearing a hat. Interact with the head to reveal the kit.

โ— Out Before Dessert
Complete the "Happy Birthday" videotape within 5 minutes.
Before you can complete this level, you must first find this tape. It is located in the attic of the Bakers' house (you will get there in the story when you need to find the key cards). So, to complete this achievement, I will describe the steps that need to be completed in 5 minutes (it's as easy as shelling pears):
  1. Head straight to the doorway to a room with a cake. Sprinklers will blow out your candle.
  2. Grab the windup key from the keg.
  3. Go to where the clown is, go to the toilet and flush it. Stick your hand in, get telescope.
  4. Near the cake room, equip the dirty telescope and walk through the doorway to clean it.
  5. Use the telescope on the TVs with the pictures.
  6. Input the combination on the locked box in the cake room. Get item. Leave room.
  7. Turn on the stove burner, burn figure to get dummy finger. Light the candle.
  8. Burn the rope off the closed door with the lit candle.
  9. Crouch and keep going toward the right wall to find a balloon that you can pick up.
  10. Go back, put the balloon on the gas pipe.
  11. Go to the clown, give it the dummy finger and quill pen.
  12. Head back to the room that had the balloon in it, put in the LOSER password.
  13. Grab the wheel and head back to the cake room.
  14. Use the wheel on the right side of the room, with the pipe, to turn off the sprinklers.
  15. Go back and light the candle, then go put it on the cake in the cake room.
Ready! The achievement is yours!
ATTENTION! SPOILER ALERT!!! According to the plot, you will need to repeat these actions with Ethan. Only now you just need to enter the room with the balls, enter "LOSER", pick up the faucet and repeat the steps from this point on.

At this difficulty level, I would recommend that you get the "Just Get Me Outta Here" achievement (complete the game in 4 hours) and choose a different ending.

Achievements - Other
โ— Walk it Off
Complete the game using only 3 First Aid Meds or less.
I recommend getting this achievement on easy level. Completing this achievement will not be difficult. Well, or simply not have first aid kits in your inventory. You can use steroids instead of first aid kits, as they do not count.

โ— Just Get Me Outta Here
Complete the game within 4 hours.
Difficulty "easy". Don't be distracted by pieces of paper, coins, etc. Just follow the story.

โ— Resource Manager
Complete the game without opening the Item Box more than 3 times.
This refers to a green box in which we can put our things. ATTENTION! You will have to open this box 3 times during the story!
  1. before passing the test, when you are forced to lay out all the items.
  2. after passing the test (you will need to take the โ€œD series armโ€, โ€œhandleโ€ and weapon for battle).
  3. after passing the ship location, when we are completely empty and we will need to return our things and Miaโ€™s things.

โ— Master of Unlocking
Use a lock pick to open something.
Can be obtained almost at the beginning of the game. When you enter the guest house, go through the kitchen, there will be a passage to the second floor. There you will find a tape that you can play in the room on the first floor. As soon as you appear as the operator, turn around and look at the ground. There you will find a master key that can be used to open a locked drawer in the kitchen

โ— Behind Closed Doors
Close an open door by yourself.
Just close the door behind you at the beginning of the game with the "F" key.

โ— Arms in the Air
Block an enemy attack by guarding.
An achievement that can also be missed, although this is unlikely. Just press "Space" during an enemy attack and block the blow.

โ— Things Got Personal
Finish off an enemy with the knife.
Well, everything is simple here. Finish off the enemy with the knife that the policeman will give you. Hold RMB, and then press LMB.

โ— Open Your Eyes
Use psychostimulants.
There is a low chance that you will miss this achievement. The fact is that psychostimulants are hard to get. However, I doubt that you will not find them even once throughout the entire game. Plus, they can be made using epoxy + food additives.

โ— Less is More
Take down two or more enemies with one shot.
For this achievement, it is best to use a shotgun, which can be obtained in the main hall of the house (you wonโ€™t be able to get it right away. According to the plot, you will find a key that opens all doors with the โ€œscorpionโ€ sign. There is such a door on the second floor, in the room where second cassette. We open the door and take away the broken double-barreled shotgun, which we will then use to replace the shotgun in the hall). To begin with, I would recommend that you shoot two enemies in the head with a pistol, and then, after waiting a moment, kill two with one shot from a shotgun.

โ— In the Bag
Increase your item slots.
There were initially 3 sacks in the game. There are bags in several locations:
  1. After you've been in the trailer, Zoe will call you and tell you to go to the "old house" nearby. We will need to go to a certain barn, in which we will find a bag.
  2. The second bag is located on the second floor of the Baker mansion, in a warehouse that can be accessed through the master bedroom (you will need the "snake key" to open the master bedroom).
  3. The third bag is on the ship, in the rest room, which can be opened using a "corrosive substance".

โ— 1st Place at the Science Fair
Create all items that contain Chem Fluid and Strong Chem Fluid.
  1. epoxy + grass = first aid kit
  2. epoxy + gunpowder = pistol cartridges
  3. epoxide + food additives = psychostimulants
  4. epoxy + solid fuel = burner fuel
  1. strong epoxy + grass = strong first aid kit
  2. strong epoxy + gunpowder = improved pistol cartridges
  3. strong epoxide + food additives = nerve agents
  4. strong epoxy + solid fuel = incendiary ammunition

โ— That's a Spicy Meat-a-ball
Kill an enemy by attaching a Remote Bomb to them and detonating it.
The enemy must have both limbs intact. The achievement can be unlocked starting from the ship, when you have such bombs. You need to stay at a distance of 2 meters from the mob. We wait until he knocks you to the ground, holding a bomb in his hands, then we place it on the enemy and BOOM! The achievement is yours.
Achievements - DLC "Nightmare"
โ— Dead by Dawn?
Complete Nightmare.
In the main menu, go to โ€œExtra Contentโ€, then to โ€œCut Materialsโ€ and select the โ€œNightmareโ€ level. It's simple. You have to survive by earning points, using them to buy first aid kits, weapons, ammo, etc. Only 5 waves.

โ— Sleepless in Dulvey
Complete Night Terror.
Everything is the same as in the โ€œDead by Dawn?โ€ achievement, except that the monsters have become stronger and now you can use various traps (gas, barrels, etc.). By the way, there are only five waves.
Achievements - DLC "Bedroom"
โ— Like Mama Used to Make
Complete Bedroom.
A very simple addition that asks you to escape from Mrs. Baker. After completing it to the end, you will receive this achievement.

โ— Ratcatcher
Find all the dead rats in Bedroom in a single play.
There are three of these rats in total and finding them is not difficult.
  1. the first rat is in the same room where you appeared, behind the shutters against the wall, next to the bed.
  2. the second rat is in the pan, which Mrs. Baker will kindly bring to us soon (this moment cannot be missed, so donโ€™t worry), you need to open the lid and taste the food, then look into the pan again and find the rat there.
  3. the last rat is in the next room, on the closet, right in front of the front door.
Achievements - DLC "21"
โ— Eye in the Sky
Complete 21.
In principle, nothing complicated. Just play 21 until the saw appears. So here it is. To win, you need to save the trump card called โ€œLove your enemyโ€ until the moment when the enemy remains to be defeated only once. At the very end, you simply lay out this trump card and victory is yours.

โ— Card Shark
Complete Survival mode in 21.
The same thing, only now you just need to defeat five opponents without dying. ATTENTION! If you lose, you will have to start over since there are no saves between opponents.

โ— You Gotta Know When To Hold 'Em
Complete Survival+ mode in 21.
One of the hardest achievements in the expansion. The point is that now you need to defeat ten opponents in a row without dying. It's purely a matter of luck. I canโ€™t give you any specific advice, except to use the โ€œshieldโ€ trump card when you are not sure of your victory. There is also no saving between opponents, which is why achievements are so difficult.
Achievements - DLC "Daughters"
โ— One Instinct: Survival
Get the true ending in Daughters.
  1. after Jack has left the living room, wait until Lucas sits down at the table and enters the password on the phone โ€œ1019โ€.
  2. Having spied the password, go through the kitchen into the room in which there is a passage under the house.
  3. after jumping, find the master key at the very beginning of the passage and go back up.
  4. go to the laundry room, which is located on the ground floor, for clean clothes.
  5. go up to the second floor and go into the bathroom, unlocking one of the drawers with the master key you found, and then take the part from it.
  6. then go to the nursery, but when you find yourself inside, do not approach Evelina!.
  7. wait until Jack leaves you and insert the received part from the box into the cup.
  8. go up to the attic, go to the laptop and enter the password you spied on Lucas โ€œ1019โ€.
  9. read files (on the computer and on the table).
  10. we go back down to Evelina.
  11. after the lights go out, go down to the living room and examine Lucas.
  12. go upstairs again and go to the bathroom.
  13. then go down to the garage, for a rope, at the request of daddy, which can be found right at the entrance.
  14. return to the bathroom.
  15. after a small scene, run to the rest room, which is located on the same floor and lock the door with a rope.
  16. find a fork in the next room that lies on the table and use it to open the board to get out the window.
  17. go along the corridor to the end and squeeze through the gap to open the red box there and get the dog's head.
  18. squeeze back through the gap and immediately tear off part of the sheet metal from the wall to exit into the corridor, and then into the main hall.
  19. bypassing Margarita, sneak to the front door, insert the missing element and go outside.
  20. run to the trailer, in which you will find a note and a certain sample lying in Miaโ€™s hand.

โ— Butterfly Effect
Get the bad ending in Daughters.
  1. immediately go to the laundry room, which is located on the ground floor, for clean things.
  2. then go to the nursery.
  3. after the lights go out, go down to the living room and examine Lucas.
  4. go upstairs again and go to the bathroom.
  5. then go down to the garage, for a rope, at the request of daddy, which can be found right at the entrance.
  6. return to the bathroom.
  7. after a small scene, run to the rest room, which is located on the same floor and lock the door with a rope.
  8. find a fork in the next room that lies on the table and use it to open the board to get out the window.
  9. at the end of the corridor, tear off part of the sheet metal from the wall to exit into the adjacent corridor, and then into the main hall.
  10. sneak to the door, which should lead you to the next room.
  11. run along the corridor to the laundry room, and then jump into the passage under the house.
  12. crawl to the very end, pick up the master key, which is in the same place.
  13. as soon as you get out of the tunnel, in the same room, go to the closet and open the drawer with a master key, in which you will find a bottle fragment.
  14. sneak past Jack to the garage and then get into the car.
Achievements - DLC "Ethan Must Die"
โ— Ethan Never Dies
Complete Ethan Must Die.
In this mode, you will need to kill Margarita, who is in the greenhouse. However, before you get there, you will have to find the keys in the main house. They are in a room that can be accessed through the living room, near the TV. Then you need to get out, get to the greenhouse and kill Margarita. It would seem easier than ever. Only you have one life. And weapons with ammunition are in completely random places. In addition to monsters, you will have to avoid traps, turrets and tripwires. The main thing you need in this mode is attentiveness.
Achievements - DLC "Jack's 55th birthday"
โ— Best Birthday Ever
Get an S Rank or higher on all stages in Jack's 55th Birthday.
To get an "S" rating at levels, you need to collect food and drinks as quickly as possible and take all this food to Jack. What you need to know:
  1. some types of food and spices can be combined, which gives Jack more satiety and also frees up space in his inventory.
  2. By killing a monster, you automatically stop the timer for a while, so try to kill monsters as often as possible.
  3. at the last levels it is advisable to kill monsters that open certain doors (the lock will glow on the monsters); by killing a monster with a lock of a certain color, you will unlock a door of the same color.

โ— Miracle Chef
Feed Jack every type of food and drink in Jack's 55th Birthday.
    Drinks include:
  • cheap wine
  • beer
  • Dalvey Crewe

    Food includes:
  • chicken
  • fruits
  • stew
  • cake

    Spices include:
  • spices
  • garbage
  • cheese
  • sugar

    Combinations:
  • chicken + spices = chicken with spices
  • fruit + beer = fruit beer
  • stew + cheese = cheese fondue
  • stew + spices = soup "tom yum"
  • cake + cheese = cheesecake
  • cake + sugar = sugar cake
  • cake + fruit = fruit cupcake
  • sugar + garbage = Baker's specialty

โ— Don't Keep the Man Waiting
Clear a stage with a 10 minute time bonus or higher in Jack's 55th Birthday.
The point is that in total you need to gain +10 minutes of bonus time, which is given for killing monsters. I strongly recommend putting a โ€œtalentโ€ with infinite ammo in your inventory. Yes, the bonus itself will be reduced by 3.7 seconds, but you should have enough time to complete this achievement. If you are not sure, then set the level where you have as much time as possible. And yes, don't forget to feed Jack!
Achievements - DLC "Death of Zoe"
โ— Promise Kept
Complete End of Zoe on Easy or Normal.
You just need to beat the game, choosing the "Easy" or "Normal" difficulty at the beginning (the "Terrible" difficulty will be available after the first playthrough).

โ— The Only Guns You Need
Complete End of Zoe on Normal or Joe Must Die using no weapons.
The point here is to use the metal glove that will be given to us after the first passage. Weapons, including spears, as you may have guessed, cannot be used. P.S. It's better to beat the game on nightmare difficulty and get the second glove. With two gloves, getting this trophy becomes a breeze.

โ— Queensberry Rules
Perform a 4-hit combo with your bare fists in End of Zoe.
At the very beginning of the expansion, as soon as we leave the hut, go to the body hanging upside down on the tree and follow the instructions for hitting. By following these instructions you will receive this achievement.

โ— Swamp Warfare
Stealth kill 5 enemies in End of Zoe.
This achievement can also be completed at Normal level. It shouldn't cause any difficulties.

โ— Fastest Man in the Swamp
Complete an Extreme Challenge in End of Zoe.
โ€œTest of Strengthโ€ opens after the first completion of the expansion and becomes available upon repeated completion. In general, the โ€œTest of Strengthโ€ is a kind of test in which you have to pass a certain point in the addition within a time limit. I got this achievement when I passed the very first moment, when I played it again, on the "Normal" difficulty level.

โ— King of the Swamp
Complete End of Zoe on Joe Must Die.
The achievement will unlock after completing the expansion for the first time.
Achievements - DLC "Not a hero"
โ— Mission Accomplished
Complete Not a Hero on Easy or Normal difficulty.
Everything is basically clear. Complete the game on one of the provided difficulties.

โ— You're the Hero Now
Complete Not a Hero on Professional difficulty.
Everything is the same, but now only in hardcore.
