Minimize your Garry's Mod game to window mode and to the lowest resolution you can get as show here

After you follow the next few steps the game will open and close in a rapid fashion so you don't want your whole monitor to be taken over.

Creating 2 Batch Files

Create the first bat (batch file) file and put it in the directory of game.

Example= C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod

How to do this is simple, you just open up notepad and copy and paste the following:

set /a var=1 :loop "hl2.exe" echo off echo Started %var% times set /a var+=1 goto loop

Save it in the games directory as Start 1.bat

Creating the second batch file is done by the same steps as before but the text that you put in the notepad will be different but make sure to put this file in the same place as the previous one.

The text to put into the notepad for the second batch file is as follows:

:loop timeout /t 5 taskkill /f /im "hl2.exe" goto loop

Save it in the games directory as Start 2.bat

If you don't get it at 5 second intervals then increase the time to 6 or higher depending on how fast your system is. The number you would change in the batch 2 file is the "timeout /t 5" just change the number, I have tried it at 3 and the achievement didn't work, I increased the time by 2 seconds to let the game load to the main menu.

What It Looks Like Started

After you have created the 2 batch files just start them both up at the same time or separately and let them run, it will count how many times you have started Garry's mod in one window and in the other will tell you the process of success.

Erase the Batch Files After You're Done

This is just to make sure it doesn't give you a Vac ban or something odd if you joined a server. I would rather you guys be safe then sorry. I am not saying it will give you a Vac ban if you do have it in your folder but just to make sure delete the 2 files you just created.

After you are done your game directory should look like this:

Always On Top (Optional)

To make sure you can still use your computer lets use a program like "Always On Top" which will let you use your browser while using the 2 batch files we just created.

Always on Top: Keep Any Window Visible Always

Always-on-top is the free utility that allows any program window to stay on top of all other windows even when it does not have the focus.

Say you are checking your emails in Google Chrome and simultaneously watching a YouTube videos in VLC on your small screen laptop. The problem is that if you switch to the browser, the media player window moves to the background and vice-versa.

If you would like to prevent that video window from hiding even while you bring the browser to the foreground, you may download “Always on Top” – a free utility that will “stick” any program window to the foreground of your desktop with a simple keyboard shortcut. Some examples:

Browser running in foreground but QuickTime is always visible

Keep the notepad or calculator handy while using an Excel Spreadsheet

To get started, download the Always On Top utility from http://img.labnol.org/di/always-on-top.zip (<200k) and run it. Then select the window you like to keep on top and press the Ctrl+Space shortcut to stick that window in the front.

You no longer have to worry about arranging windows side-by-side to copy-paste information from one window to another. If you like to disable sticking and restore the default window behavior, just press the same Ctrl+Space shortcut again.

This worked, but there's something to consider now:
1. Replace 'hl.exe' with 'gmod.exe', because it got changed.
2. For Always On Top Powertoys is recommended (It's developed by Microsoft).

appears as though "hl2.exe" doesn't exist in the gmod directory making this not work. I will attempt to just put it in the bin directory and have it do gmod.exe instead.

For Always On Top (Optional) too - If you install PowerToys from the Microsoft store/wherever else it's hosted, it also has that always on top functionality and it was developed by Microsoft guys. (For anybody who's worried about viruses/want something that's OEM)
