"The seats, representing each person lost to the disaster. I like to visit this site to pay my respects, and capture the moment. It's a beautiful and peaceful place for being downtown. :) This location has things that could bring you to tears.

I know it's a sad time, but it's also a beautiful thing to remember and honor these people so that they may live on. Through us. And I don't even know them. My mom knew one of them. I knew someone nearby in the apartment tower but he was at college when it happened. So was I. We went to college together. We felt the impact miles away. We thought a truck hit the building. And the bombing took place some miles away. That's how powerful it was. There's also the tree that survived the blast. ♥

I need to visit again. This time I should enter the Museum. I've never been inside. I've always just visited the exterior part, the names, the chairs, and the handprints of the kiddos.

I took this with a Nikon D40X and the resolution isn't good because I retrieved this from photobucket. The original looked much better."
