Description

This is a very typical Japanese-style narrative game: beautifully illustrated, lightly flavored with tea-making ASMR, and built entirely around its “beast-ear” world premise. It leans heavily into that familiar “high-concept sadness” — grand lore, sad lines, and a sort of emotional fog — but feels hollow underneath, like a theater made of air.

The story gives the illusion of conflict, yet almost nothing truly happens. The darker or more “profound” elements feel more decorative than meaningful, creating a façade of depth without the details needed to support its themes of happiness or existence. Most factions or plans fall apart the moment you try to imagine how they would actually work.

Of course, a cute, soothing game doesn’t need deep writing. But after 6–10 hours of looping between awkward melodrama and gentle clichés, it becomes hard not to feel fatigued.

In short: gorgeous art, calming audio, emotionally soft — but narratively thin.
Perfect for a night when you just want something to help you fall asleep.
