We all know messing with Helldivers is great so here is 7 ways to do it!

This one should be pretty self explenatory. It is the classic and therefore the one that has the lowest success rate (97,82%).
The fake handshake! Recommended to perform first since success rate drasticly lowers (down to 91,27%) if previous tomfoolery has been commited.
It is such a classic that if it is commited first they will barely get suspicious.

Dynamite to be accurate but this one is a bit more advanced.
First you need to equip the dynamite and once you get on the ground hold R while holding the dynamite(pull out dynamite by pressing 4) and set the timer to 1 minute.
Once that has been completed just find a bunker or wait for someone to find a bunker. When either you or they arrive at the bunker make sure to stand at the button that is closer to the way out of the bunker pit (the right button when looking at the bunker from the front).

Then when they click their little button and it lights up green you can press E to exit the button pressing earlier than them.
Proceed to run out of the pit showing the other Helldiver that they are the ones to loot the bunker, once they realise... throw the dynamite (multiple recommended for reasons later discussed) into the pit and watch them jump, dodge and weave AT NOTHING! HA! Sometimes they try to climb out of the pit IT LOOKS HILARIOUS!
Commence mocking one liner: "Dude chill", "made you flinch"

THIS CAN BE REPEATED.
Slight adjustments need to be made if repeated on the same Helldiver.
If they somehow understand what you are doing hold R again while holding the dynamite and change it back to 5 seconds.
Repeat bunker process but this time the dynamite will explode before they can realise that you have changed it back to 5 seconds instead of 60 seconds.
Another way of doing it is throwing one dynamite that explodes in 60 seconds making them think they are safe and then throwing another one that explodes in 5 seconds.

GUYS I FOUND A BUNKER!
But you didnt.
Find a random point of interest and tell the Helldivers you have found a bunker (burried samples POI recommended for lack of things to look at).
Once a Helldiver shows up and they ask you where the bunker is commence mocking one liner: "I thought you found a bunker?" or "What bunker?" or "I lied." or "I swear it was here a second ago."

Just strap the Hellbomb backpack to your back and find a bunker (or take advantage of stratagy number 3 and lie).
You must be far away from any Helldiver so they blow themselves up to get to you faster.
Proceed to call in Helldiver and activate Hellbomb (it is possible to activate Hellbomb before calling Helldiver in but they may see you activate it if they spectate you).

Once people stand at their Hellpods wait next to them and once the host starts the mission get into their Hellpod before they can.
It is a CLASSIC and will destroy any Helldiver!
It is recommended to pull this off after doing the fake handshake to cause an increased ammount of psychological damage.

Just tell them they spawn with mines now and chuck a bunch of mines near the bunker.
They'll probably believe you.

Just throw like a car and a mech at the door. Maybe a turret, that might work.
Or maybe it wont.












I tried it like once, it didn't work. But then I accidentally crushed the Helldiver with the mech legs so does it count? I say yes so it goes on the list.
