In Aloft, you can have multiple home islands so you can use a smaller island as your ship for easier navigation and a bigger island for your house and other builds.
If you just started playing this game, then keep watching for more beginner tips and tricks.

This video will cover everything early-game from basic settings to restoring an island’s ecosystem, while giving you some helpful tips that I wish I knew sooner.
