oh... oh yeah it makes sense now that i think about it, i just said it seems harder now because i changed computer so i thought that's why it feels harder, turns out the framerate it's not an excuse... ... it's that i didn't play it for months so now i suck... now i know.

You didn't - it's capped at 60.

Yeah making the game speed a thing related to framerate is a very weird thing... Like this is a 2010 game, and it come out on steam in 2013... I'm playing it to a pc way too modern that can reach like... 130-150+ frames to a game like this... So yeah I noticed while playing that it becomes a bit too fast...

In this case it's more of an exploit than a cheat, because you'd get similar results on an extremely slow computer or a 24-30hz monitor. It's their fault for tying game speed to framerate like it's 1995. I got mine "legit", but when a game is that badly coded, I wouldn't blame anyone.

yeah, cheating like that (or in other ways) ruined the leaderboards a lot...

really? very interesting... yeah that is a nasty way you can cheat...

Fun fact: The game speed is tied to your framerate. That means you can slow the game down via a limiter (which is built into SteamOS) and then it becomes super freaking easy.
