Description

The Leopard 2K is a German 9.7 main battle tank. It is propelled by an incredible 1500 engine, making this one of the fastest vehicles at its' tier. Its' hull traverse speed is like no other, and with a top speed of 69 km/h forwards AND backwards, you can be sure you can make it to whatever position you want at the start of each match. To back up its' mobility, it is armed with the famous 120mm Rheinmetall L44 cannon, and DM13 to fire through said cannon. While the DM13 isn't as great as DM23 or DM33, it is still plenty good enough to deal with any vehicles you come across, even the 10.7's that you see in uptiers. Also, this tank is one of the few vehicles in the game with the super fun Rh202 20mm cannon mounted on its' roof. This cannon can penetrate up to 57mm's of armor, meaning it will absolutely shred any lightly armored vehicle, and will even punch straight through the side armor of a lot of main battle tanks! It's also fantastic for taking out aircraft, cannon barrels, tracks, etc. The Rh202 adds so much versatility to this vehicle, it's an absolute blessing to have. While this vehicle's armor isn't anything special, its' survivability is wonderful. If you get shot in the turret, 8 times out of 10 you will be able to survive and reverse into safety, repair, and get back into the fight. The turret is also super trolly, and can actually defeat a lot of HEAT shells and conventional shells. The reload speed of the 2K is average, just like the rest of the Leopards. 8.7 seconds stock, 6.7 seconds aced. Nothing out of the ordinary here, but is still fast enough to be competitive.

In my opinion, this is one of the most fun vehicles in the game to play, just because of 20mm cannon. Being able to shred your opponents cannon barrels with the 20mm is hilariously fun. It also can completely blind them due to all the debris it creates. Plus, in my opinion, this is by far one of the coolest looking tanks in the game. I just adore the look of the 2K, such a beautiful design. Even though there's not really a German 9.7 lineup in the game, I'd still take this thing out by itself and just have some fun with it. Or put it in as a backup for your 10.7 lineup, it definitely has the performance to do some work at that tier.
