Ahum ! The problem of "historical records especially those written by Caesar is that they are stg like propaganda. History is always written by the victors. So having here some critical thinking could be salutary. EG : It is hard for me to believe that during certain battles romans suffered only 12 casulaties when on the other side the gauls left 20.000 men on the floor....

Actually, judging by the historical records left by some including Caesar, the natives weren't much smarter than this.

yeah man, encamptmen defense using faction who have phalanx is GG (against the AI of course)

Just won like 4 battles with minimal casualties in a row doing this. I gotta start relying on encampments more

Ai seems to be about as smart as a potato in these situations, it will literally never attack the 3 entrances to the camp, usually 2. But it will not try to tear down the flimsy walls, or anything like that. Itll just madly charge the pike walls and get slaughtered
