Oh, I think they have expanded on this and this is the bones of the upcoming "ion phantom"! so that is awesome!

Hmm, interesting. I hope it turns a full game. I like this Half Life 1 vibes a lot, and we're lacking of good old boomer shooters. Ion Fury is already a very good one.

It's not unfortunately, although there is still a possibility of this getting made into a full game!
