"Time is an imaginary scale such as the meter, it doesn't actually exist. What does the clock measure? Nothing, it periodically repeats a process and counts the iterations to create a scale. It cannot measure anything, because there is no 'force of time' like there is magnetism or temperature.
The clock dictates our every day so deeply we have fallen for the illusion time would be a reality.
A river doesn't flow because there is time, rather because the river is flowing we experience a 'time flow' for the order of events."
