I played PAYDAY 2 years ago and I wasn't fascinated by it back then. it was a difficult game and not that fun when you can only manage to finish a heist on lower difficulties.
Two days ago I was checking games' achievements with a friend and we had this title on the table. Around 1300 achievements for it? That's a lot. It will take a while to complete all of them that's for sure. Thanks to him I understood more about this game's features such as skills trees, perks and weapon modifications. Although I feel like you have to own DLCs for basically most good builds available there's life without having them as well. I'm currently not sure which DLC should I get for the best price so for now I'll just settle for what I have.
It's definitely worth the price and this game is not that hard as it may seem like. You only need to gain some knowledge on key elements which I've pointed out a few lines back. I've always liked that there are many masks and many of them are just funny. At the end of the day, PAYDAY 2 is a fun title even after 12 years and I can see why people choose this game instead of the newer one.
