Overall great game. It does feel a lot like the first one in some perspectives but it has been compensated with great sound design, visuals and other juicy improvements.

Not to mention it combat is next level satisfaction, the master strike and kill animations is the best animations i've seen in a while. Based on historical fighting techniques too, like the Mordhau in a rare occurence

In regards to story it takes so many un-expected twists and turns all the time, i can still only recommend it highly

Way better looking armoury and weaponry. Lots of new features.
If you have not got the game yet, i would say grab it because it really is worth every dime in my honest opinion

Only flaw would be the few game breaking issues that happens during long quests, such as specific characters not moving, but it's on the drawing board by Warhorse, currently

Sad to see this great game go offline, was my prime game as younger. Aswell as lot of Deadliest Warrior hours with the DLC

Only reason for the downvote is really only some of the animations, and of course servers have gone offline, but the game is slightly more historically accurate than mordhau, the customization limits kind of kept the game somewhat in line with that.

Atleast 60 hours of story, very emotional, many things to do after finishing aswell. Certainly the best game i ever played. Very Highly recommend RDR2

Do get a good pc though, for the best experience since the game is extremely demanding on graphics, yet it is possible to run with older gpus.

This is a great game, i had it since 2013 and have been doing artwork and scene building since 2020. Now you may see those insane artworks by people with realism lighting. It's an extremely difficult and time consuming process and it requires Photoshop. I prefer using re shade and NVIDIA photo mode + soft lamps addon for gmod to capture my scenes.

Other than that this game features various of hundreds custom gamemodes with people abroad still playing to this day. DarkRp is probably the most popular, i never played it but i do see its popular.

I've been playing mostly singleplayer, and had lots of fun since there is endless possibilities with addons in this game, it is truly a sandbox.

For a 6 year old game I'm very happy to see it still alive, its my second best game i played by far
I was maxed rank on ps4 and had everything some year after it came out, and its lovely that you can sort of redo your progress with shortcut kits. This game really is one of its kind and deserves so much more attention

Things to be aware of
-Lot of toxicity
-Lot of high levels
-You will die alot

Really a great game. I do wish it wasn't so restricted where to place parts on the ships, else its awesome and time consuming fun to play.

Excellent game, one of CA's last good total war games before turning their attention to fantasy and Warhammer series

Animation:
Sadly a lot of intentional kill animations was scrapped, but they can be brought back with combat mods etc. I'm still trying myself to find the perfect fluent combat mod.

DLCs:
Way Too pricy, i would go down to like 1 - 5€, instead of 16,99€ for some stupid units you can get via workshop.

Gameplay:
Amazing control a lot of Legions or troops or whatever or control Europe and reunite the entire continent under the Roman banner.

Soundtrack/Music:
Very good, some of the best and glorious soundtracks for total war games.

I highly recommend modding this, game as its tons of more fun with mods.

Divide Et Impera: Overhaul, lots of Units
Radious mod: Even more units:
Roman unit pack reupload: Even 30 additional units for Rome
Additional units pack; a Radious compatible mod with even more units
Spartan total warrior - roman units: Units again
Regional Roman units - Expanded: Atlast more units
These 6 unit mods adds a total of around 114 Units for rome, and these are just Melee infantry. Also adds ton of other units to other factions.

If you're like me and you like many units i recommend these a lot.

Awesome game.

Amazing game, just amazing. More realistic than any medieval slasher in terms of weapons, armour and historical accuaracy.

Clever ways to get through the main story dependent on your choice of dialogue or use
perks/skill to persuade people, merchants etc.

Combat system is a bit hard to learn at first, since it's more advanced than regular medieval slashers but once you try dueling for yourself in a arena and train you'll get better


For those who are alot into the historical element of Accuracy and medieval timed games this is definetely not a miss!

There is not much to dislike about this amazing game. It's unique in every way of it's own, and you don't find many games to take place during the 18th century.¨
Only thing in the basegame would be to add more factions, since some factions that played a mediocore role in the great northern war are missing, such as Denmark or Electorate of Saxony. Well the game isn't just about the great northern war it's about the entireity of ruling a kingdom, and the evolution warfare in the 18th century.

Start from ineffective military tactics in the beginning of the century, with a small country. End with world dominatio, this game is one of it's own. This is one of the old gold Total war games, I remember buying it in 2014 being one of the best games i played, especially if you're looking for musket-warfare games.

Highly recommend it.

Game was great at launch, but since then it has only gone down hill. Developers ignore horde mode and other necesscities completely only adding minor details you won't even notice that rare once there is a patch. The devs wounded the game badly, now all is needed is a final blow to kill it.

Speaking of the playerbase now is a mix between new people, mid experienced players and above 100 players, alot of trolls too or being as annoying a player as possible.

Though i can confirm, you will also meet a lot of friendly and lovely players.


This could have been an amazing game like never before but dreams were dead half way into 2020.

There is the modding community, but why bother spend time making mods when the game developers ruin it with useless things in their crappy hotfixes.
