Base game 2077 is a solid action RPG. Phantom Liberty is genuine sci-fi literature. The shift in tone is massive, closer to Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence than a typical shooter. Song So Mi is the best written character CDPR has produced, period. Her existence questions the line between humanity and weaponized code better than almost anything in the medium. Giving the body to Johnny after a Solo run felt like the only logical conclusion, but PL is where the real questions are asked. Masterpiece work.

My entire purpose in this game boiled down to one thing: making sure my girl could finally rest. 10/10, would get my heart ripped out for her again.

It's funny how a story about a girl losing her mind makes so many grown men do the exact same thing.

Finally, a protagonist that is literally me (derogatory).

Some fevers feel more like home than health ever could. The choice is to either let it consume you or face the chill of the cure. Neither is a kindness.

I never wanted to breed with anyone more than I want to with Malenia, Goddess of Rot. That perfect, curvy body. Those perky breasts. The child-bearing hips of a literal goddess.
