> Be you - a WWE2k fan getting every game all the way from Champions in like 2001.
> Be happy purchasing all the way to WWE2k19
> Buy the "super duper 150$" edition of WWE2k26 expecting a complete experience, happy to pay for a season pass later down the line to support the game forward, like more wrestlers or something.
> Open up WWE2k26 --- just try putting on some plain clothes on your dude in Character Creation.
> "UNLOCK THIS ITEM IN RINGSIDE PASS" | "UNLOCK THIS BY WINNING OR BUYING IN THE ISLAND" | "GET THIS ITEM BY RANDOMLY DROPPING IT IN MY FACTION" | "SPEND MONEY ON MYFACTION TO GET PACKS" | "Yes you do keep progressing in Ringside battle pass whenever you want and you can change and switch them up - BUT WE LOCKED THE PROGRESSION TO ONLY SELECT MATCHES AND GIVING YOU BARELY ENOUGH XP TO DO ANYTHING!"

What in the F is this.

The graphics are good - moves are fluid, controls are the same as in 2k20 - its good.
But when I bought the super duper 150$ edition in 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, even in 20 ---- I got EVERYTHING. No grind, no buying packs. Yes I could play My Faction in 20 and later editions --- BUT I DIDN'T NEED TO, in order to get customization items for my wrestlers.

I'm glad they changed engines to Unity - its performing exceptionally well --- BUT I PAID 150$ AND I GOT A BIG MIDDLE EFFIN FINGER - "here suck on this SUCKER".

---

I am upset, but not because of the money I've spent, I've got the money - but because this is absolutely insane.
You spend your hard earned money, buying the most epic edition - then they release a Season Pass for nearly 50$ btw - which you don't get in the ultimate 150$ edition - force you to do Battle Pass to unlock everything, force you to do My Faction to unlock everything and you better hope you GET what you WISH (lootbox, literally what Valve is getting sued for because Valve is apparently marketing gambling --- lets forget EA and 2k are doing the same) - you must play The Island mode to unlock everything ---

I just want, to open up the game, make my stupid guy however I want from the start, put them in my own Universe, and just have fun. Can't do that - gotta grind.
Freaking GENERIC CLOTHING - SHOULD NOT be locked behind a "MY FACTION" function. Custom wrestler appearance and attire - sure. GENERIC?? Absolutely no.

400 wrestlers don't mean kaka if you're just going to lock everything anyway.

Early Access Review
Its not actually bad. Its pretty good.
And I'm saying it not just because there's furries in it

**Da graphics**
To be honest their faces are waaay too realistic.
The devs went for realistic looks rather than stylizing it - which is both good and bad.

Good - I mean it's UE, it will look good, and everything has physics and jiggles and all that....
Bad - because of how real the characters look, when they do something weird, or move in a weird way, it just --- it looks weird, it doesn't feel right.
I think it would benefit the creators if they --- styled it a little more, leaned into something you know.
Also, the cosmetics for weapons suck major Baws.

**Da rest**
I wouldn't say every character plays unique - they don't - the BODY TYPE matters because that affects how fast you are and how much damage you can "tank".
Then every character has 2 abilities and 1 ultimate. Think of it as Overwatch with furries basically.
The gunplay --- its a thid-person shooter, that reminds me of Army of 2.
The sprint --- you have both normal sprint and "tactical" sprint, which is basically running on 4 legs like the animal you are. Normal sprint is nearly infinite, whilst the tactical one is limited.
The sounds are okay, but some character voices are annoying and are clearly phoned in...
Some translations are - subpar, because idioms and phrasing is hard to convey from one language to another, especially if you use LLM to translate everything.

**More good things though:**
You can SWITCH between Battle Passes! Like in Deep Rock Galactic! Other hero shooters don't do that, so that's pretty cool!
The gameplay is like Battlefield, with Squads and multiple people fighting over an objective in attack vs defend scenario.

**Da other negatives...**
Its janky a bit. Some abilities are way more useful than others creating a very imbalanced feel, or that some abilities don't do anything at all.....
Not a lot of content. There's like --- 4 skins per gun.... 3 skins on characters.... most of the skins feel generic AF, there's like 1 or 2 you might want.

**Muh Wish**
I wish the game had a PvE mode, due to sweat-lords on almost every match. I wish we could have a coop mode where we do some operative missions, to progress the story or something. Would be kinda cool.

**Overall**
IDK man, I mean steam has a 2 hour policy of returning the game - its also very cheap.
So give it a try, even if you're not into furries, I mean I got some friends who are not furries kinda into it.
I feel sorry for the devs a bit, because its clearly an indie studio, and we have try-hard sweat-lords ruining the game for newbies. My recommendation: create a private room and get the feel of the game with bots, or play with friends.
I want them to continue development, but we'll see what happens, since so few people play it... maybe more of them play it on the chinese servers or version of steam, or whatever.
I wish them the best.

Sometimes - Blizzard can make a good game.
And an expansion.
And a fun to play character.

Plays just like the original - but with extra QOL features, which is highly welcome.
The ability to switch between Legacy and Resu-erected is just *chef's kiss*.

Great effin' game, even 20 years later.
Offline/Online - doesn't matter.
The only problem: "You have to log in at least once every 30 days to play offline". That --- is really annoying.

> Devs kickstart a game
> Space sim lovers get excited and buy/support it
> Dev abandons the game almost instantly
> Dev doesn't announce it
> Rush the release
> KEEP THE STEAM STORE PAGE OPEN SO WE CAN STILL GET SOME MONEY IF SOME SUCKA BUYS THIS ABANDONED PRODUCT

brilliant

Abandoning the Steam version in favor of mobile port.

And we all know why - micro transactions...
And ads.

Gotta get greed fulfilled somehow!
Get those stupid cosmetic wings for 0.99$ come on it's just 0.99 and don't forget to watch ads so you can get premium daily check ins and so I, the dev, get more moniesssss!!

I don't recommend supporting this BS.

F this dev.

Ship controls are tighter than your girlfriend once you learn to control them. Going in and out of boost, using drift to quickly change angle at speed and boosting again -- the controls are just that good.

The story - eh, if a game doesn't catch my interest in the first 10 minutes - I just don't care. Its probably great - has stories about redemption and guilt of the past... something about a cult and a race of supernatural beings, and your ship being sentient because its soul has been ripped from like a different dimension.

Music is good, sound design is great.
Gameplay -- eh, it is FUN to a point. I'm still doing the main quest and all side quests. And I gotta tell ya -- it gets quickly repetitive. So I have to take breaks between sets. And can only play like 30 minutes at most, because it just -- eh. 14 hours in and its all samey.
The bosses are tough, you get new enemy types every now and then, so combat doesn't get too stale - you have to use specific weapons for specific health and its easy to notice which ones to use, because each weapon has color coded ammo and each enemy has color coded health.
The cash - I got like 80k and I can buy whatever I want in the shop, but I'm not - because things you get in missions are enough to get you through everything. Most of the time. Just buy hull and shield upgrades and weapons when your current ones are bad. Complete side missions and explore to get the ship modules - and boom, you're decked out.
But yeah, every mission is basically: Fly to the dude. Talk to dude. Dude tells you to go to X. Go to X. Do some random stuff or eliminate enemies, or both. Return. Get stuff. Its not always this, its not always that simple - but most side quests are like this. Some are interesting, where you have to "stealth", but I just flew the wrong direction, broke the logic, and completed the stealth mission in like 1 minute.

In any case - this FEELS like an indie game and plays like an indie game.
The controls are tight, feels fun to play - but gets repetitive, so don't try playing through it all in one go because you'll just get bored of it, make it in session.

After extensively playing this game -- I have to change my opinion.
Its good.
I can't believe its free...

It plays similar to Elden Ring, Stellar Blade, Wuchang, and Fallen Feathers - especially with bosses. Bosses are the most interesting thing - they have 2 stages (for now, I only met bosses with 2 stages) and they are NOT easy if you don't use assistance. So expect to die a bunch of times before you learn the patterns.

There is absolutely a MASS of content to explore - Far Cry is seething with envy.

The immersion is high, the Wuxia land of Jinghau is gorgeous.
The character models and animations are top-tier.

Initially - I disliked it. I didn't understand it - now I get it!
Its FUN to play, and you have HOURS of stupid mini-games to complete - which are more interesting than anything Ubisoft or Bethesda could do (because Ubislop is releasing uninteresting slop, and Bethesda is stuck in an ancient engine that can't handle changing gameplay all of a sudden or something, idk) - but basically you won't be bored.

My only real problem remains - monetization. Its going to be basically like every other gacha game: Battle Passes, Monthly Cards, Draws, ridiculously expensive costumes in the shop, Top Ups, Seasons with no ability to go back to a season and pick up content you've missed making it FOMO...
The Battle Pass is priced similarly to others: 4.99 for elite, and 14.99 for the ultra super duper pass. Then you have Top Ups which give you pearls - but the value of them seems a bit unfair. The lowest you can get is like 60? You CAN buy costumes for them, the ones you can get after finishing campaigns or super duper boss fights. But there are packs for 29.99 which give only 2600 gems, giving you access to only 1 of the super duper fancy costumes, because those cost 2480, and most fun costumes cost around 1240 Its ridiculously priced.
But I get why - I mean they have to make their money back for releasing a free freaking Elden Ring.
I've played countless of these games, I have 2000 games in my account and been playing since I was 4 on a Nintendo - and this game I just keep opening and playing for some reason...

The game is rated for 12 year olds, so don't expect any "spicy" content similar to Black Desert. So at least you can be sure your kids aren't playing a coomer game.
I can't say much about the story, I've stopped giving a damn about stories in games a long time ago (thank you western devs), so I just skip through the dialog, but from what i can gather in the cutscenes and the skipped dialog, it seems interesting - with a bit of intrigue and choices you have to make.

Eastern devs are basically Wuxia-ing around the Western devs, raking in cash, making beautiful lands and characters, while the western AAA guys are going "its Ma'aaaaaam".
And I'm glad westerners are losing money and customers time, maybe they'll wake up that 'modern audience' is a myth and we can get FUN games again.

This really needs a sequel.
The story is phenomenal, told mostly through visuals alone and intercom providing some background details. You also have to sometimes pause the game or screenshot some sections where text appears on your car so you can get more in-depth - but the soundtrack and the visuals - the feeling of this game - is just exceptional.

We need Distance 2, perhaps with new driving mechanics like shooting or having some moral choices, etc.

Its a bit jank here and there - but it feels like the good old slav-jank, like Sniper Ghost Warrior. As in --- its completely playable, it just doesn't have the polish you'd expect.

The dragons are cool, they are also autonomous so they fly around when you land - it gets them into trouble and they can die.
The fight of human x human is souls-like - but most can be avoided by using your dragon when the enemies are outside.

I mean overall its a fun game nad I want the full release now lmao

This is basically Serious Sam for kids.
The fact that you have beheaded dolls that look like Beheaded warriors from SS series -- the open world-ness of SS4...

Honestly its not that bad. Its not THAT great, but its definitely not unplayable.
BESIDES - you have SPLIT SCREEN!
