game’s still bad, it’s pay to win and every new update is more cringe and annoying

I love the sound and art-style, but the gameplay is like Pokemon games - repeating the same thing again and again, trying to remember the effectiveness of types and min-maxing items - so boring. Also they’re so weird and quirky and not like the other girls, you can’t save (to prevent you form save-scumming) so when my save got corrupted, I can’t do ♥♥♥♥ and now I feel zero motivation to play this game...

Game of the Year material!
Pros: great humor, character, level and environment design, themes of mental health, such as addiction, panic attacks, sensory overload and more, people connected with the project like Tim Schafer, Rikki Simons, Elijah Wood and Jack Black, impeccable soundtrack
Cons: sometimes a little janky, there are places in the environment where you can get irreversibly stuck, slide infinitely, wall jump is annoying, the thing they give you to help collect valuables sees through walls, which is helpful, but that doesn’t work well with non-euclidean space, water is not consistent, it takes 1-3 touches depending the location
