Another hit from MyGrandfather Games!

If you've played and enjoyed Bite Night, this is definitely up your alley.

You're a kid stuck at home giving out candy to strangers coming to your house for Halloween. Some have dressed up to come for candy and some came for other reasons. With scares and a good story to go along with it, this game is definitely worth the price tag.

Pretty short game, but worth the $3.50 :)

I originally played the demo and gave up because I'm playing on an Ultrawide monitor and it's not that great to play on. Having to constantly look to one side of my 49' monitor and then looking back to the middle to plant crops (5120x1440).

I said screw it and wanted to give it another shot since a lot of people are really enjoying the game. I had no idea if I could change the aspect ratio of the game or anything like that prior to buying it.

I searched through the settings and found that you can change where on the screen that the game will play. This also meant I could change it from playing in a landscape sort of way and make it more of a portrait game which is great! I've adjusted the game so that it's set up to be on the first third of my screen (Setting - Sidebar: 3841px) and this is soooooooooo much better. It's also only using 2% of my CPU and 500MB of Ram on Low Power settings.

I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time with this game open on the side while work, watch YouTube or even play other games since it requires such low power. Definitely recommend :)


EDIT: For the fellow ultrawide enjoyers. Before you start a game, you'll have the option to play Landscape or Portrait and you won't be able to change it after starting your farm. If you want to play a vertical farm make sure to choose the portrait option :)

Game is pretty fun so far! Have so far only been playing on my Steam Deck (Made and published a controller layout to use), the game runs flawlessly as expected. Battery lasts quite awhile so far and have had 0 issues in game.

One note is that there is currently no cloud saving so keep that in mind if you are wanting to play on your Steam Deck.

Definite pass on this game, it feels like a school project.

RED FLAG: The game requires you to create an account in-game to play (I'd suggest an email you don't care about and password if you do choose to play).

Audio clips with itself while shooting, you can't strafe left/right while sprinting, the AI you fight in the wave mode is pretty bad and repetitive (From what I tried to play, albeit not very long). Didn't bother with Multiplayer since no servers were available and didn't feel like hosting one. Game has an in-game store to purchase currencies but nowhere to actually spend it lol.
It's overall very underwhelming.

Bought it hoping that the Active and Passive Effects would be for the Battle Spiral but it doesn't change those drop rates at all so it's a mystery to me as to what it changes. The look in game for the spiral is pretty meh as well so I'd pass on buying this one.

Edit: Looks like it does change the % now but it doesn't add 20% it just multiplies the current percent by 20%. Still not worth it in my opinion.
