Its like the first, but with more! More friends, lore, characters, animations, and gameplay! A wonderful improvement from the first.

One of my favorite space roguelikes! I'm not sure what about it if its the great soundtrack but also the different mini quests and storylines, but FTL just keeps drawing me back in! There's so many worlds, races, and ships so there's a lot of different playstyles to master.

fun gameplay, exploration, and a charming artstyle!
each area has its own share of secrets and ways to test out different mechanics as you progress.

two things which are a little annoying:
if you're facing a bunch of enemies near the edge of a screen sometimes knockback or just running away will make you transition screens, resetting your progress for that screen.
also if you dash immediately after landing a hit with the sword, you'll dash in place. im not sure if this is intended but if it is it is not explained well so it is a bit frustrating to find that out myself in fights.

besides these two things the game is pretty to look at and has solid gameplay.
im excited to see where it will go next!!

a great remake of the original from 2008. i dont think anything can match up to the original ost, but the new one isnt bad either. If you want the original, there are mods to replace osts i think. The gameplay and UI elements are slick and add to the feel of the game. Overall a successful remaster!
