I backed this game on Kickstarter in 2012, and now at the cusp of 2016 it's still in a state of not being a playable game. They haven't stopped working on it, which is amazing, but they also have not made any progress. I see this game on my friends' wishlists and all I can think is: please do not buy this game. If it ever leaves Early Access, I will install it and try it and change this review, but it is not finished or close to finished or even any closer to finished than it was 2 years ago (or 4).

DO NOT BUY

This game is baisically a hyper text choose your own adventure, if that means anything to you.

If that doesn't mean anything to you: this game is 90% text screens and clicking on text. If you are expecting lots of RPG elements and pixel art, you will be disapointed. If you don't like reading your games, you will be disapointed.

If you expect to read some atmospheric prose and chose how to die in a dungeon, you will not be disapointed. It's really pretty decent. I got it from a bundle, and you should too.

Its a cute enough simple flash-type game. Its free so it's hard not to recommend. But a game based around local multiplayer that won't function with two controllers is a broken game.

It owns and if it still came with a free Rocket League I would buy another today.

Seriously its very good. The Steam client integration makes changing layouts super easy and the track pads are great.

This game is fantastic. From the Heartland-rock-inspired soundtrack to the way your various veggies sort automatically into visible containers, to the good times had by throwing corn cobs into a zombie face.

Harvesting resources in the woods is frustrating and there are no trading cards but jeez other than that theres nothing bad to even say about this game. It's super and fun.

It's not just low price, it's very cheap. No notification of unlocking new characters, or of getting a new high score, no controller support or achievements make the whole thing feel like somebody made it in a weekend for a quick cash grab.

It's cute, but also very limited and shallow. The trailer shows the entire contents of the game.


I'd love to see it finished a bit more but in this day and age you can get a more finished runner game or a cuter playing in a bundle and it's hard to justify this even at 50c

I backed the first Shadowrun kickstarter, and I backed this one too. They did a good job on the first game and a better job on the remastered version and a better job yet on this one. Hong Kong is the best game yet in a series that just keeps getting better.

Got it in a bundle. Has a button to litterally ♥♥♥♥ a brick. Blew up a yeti with a falling box enflamed by mind bullets. Got cards. 100% recomend.

A light rogue-like runs the risk of being too shallow for some while still scaring others with its depth.

Crowntakers is a splended little game that serves up randomised battles across 10 over world maps in your quest to take the titular crown. The art is fantastic, the sound is great, the game plays very well. The enemies are fairly smart and even easier fights usually have some intregue.

This game does not deserve to have tons of down-tumbs reviews. It's a really solid game and if you like these types of games like I do, you will really love it.

Do you want a fast paced, bloody game where you build towers to defend your dungeon? Of course you do; buy this game and start enjoying killing all the king's horses and all the king's men
