i NEED more games like this. games like looking up, the milk games, and q.u.q. are so short and yet have such an amazing atmosphere, i really cant recommend this enough, this game is an experience. play it! ^^

Love it, but doesnt work on linux. Not supported at all, and I just thought "Oh hey I can probably run it through Proton."

Nope. SFM doesnt show up in my library, which means I cant access the properties, and try to make it use run through proton. R.I.P

Got it working recently, works great. 10/10.

I never realized such a small little RPGMaker game could develop such an interesting atmosphere, with a story that is more thought-provoking and engaging than I ever imagined it would be. Its so... immersive, the fourth wall breaking, Niko's dialogue with the player, it really makes you feel like Niko, and the world they are sent to protect, are your responsibility, as you are the god of the world itself. I found myself getting so, so attached to this story's characters so easily, and oh my gosh, the SOUNDTRACK- I still tear up when I hear "My Burden Is Light."

Niko's burden is light, a light that is literally the Sun of the world Niko is meant to save. Niko, with your guidance, will carry the Sun to the Tower. The world's inhabitants have doubts that the return of the Sun will save the decaying world, but Niko carries it anyways. You only have One Shot. Niko's burden is light, but it is anything but light.

So far, this game has been amazing! Its really gory, and its a bit much at times, but you get used to it. Love the eerie, unnerving atmosphere, and everything is really smooth.I both love and hate the "Personal Hell" mechanic, but overall I like having to manage the 3 stats, it keeps you on your toes. The controls are a bit confusing at first, took some time to get used to them and remember what button did what thing, but overall the mechanics are really cool!
