As with most idler games you can go the active or passive route, although it still requires some active time, and your first round will get you about 900 achievements which take you about 2-3 months.
However if you want to 100% this game it will take you a long time to get the remaining achievements, because on your first rebirth with some perks it still takes a long time, and then you need to do a few more (which eventually gets faster).

Some things are also tedious, that even though i turne catch info off it still overlaps over my chests and seagulls, and there are some changes that could have been made, to make certain things easier, like with a rebirth not to show all the gems/eggs etc you can't get after a rebirth if you already have them, or have a 1 button click to buy all possible upgrade tiers. And your pets will not grow in bond if you don't have the game on.
And on top of that, for some rebirths seem to be quicker then for others and dev is just not responding at all.
