You expect some sort of zelda like game, but in ways it's not.
Yes you have an outworld and dungeons, and upgrades, but that's all it has in common.

In short it's really one big map, where you kill enemies that gives you tears that you use to level up your character and upgrade your stats, but if you get killed you drop those tears. In which you got a limited frame to go back and pick it up.

In my personal opinion the bosses are a bit hard to hit, you take very small pieces off their health bar compared on the large pieces they take of yours.
Even if you grinded a lot and got a large bunch of upgrades.
And then in the end you get to a few enemies on regular points of the map that could kill you in like 3 hits, in my opinion this could have been more balanced.

And in all this between you get a few "puzzles" about hitting the right skulls or color switches, which often you just want to bruteforce.

And finally you got achievements, in which luckily the existing guide helps you out a lot, because the final weapons/shields/tokens it's very hard to get them all without.

It's a rough game that could be polished here and there, but overall it's an okay game.

One tip and 1 possible missing achievement, is the aldric one, get that before killing the end boss.

8/10.

Buggy to even play.

Whenever i play, quit and restart i get invalid stuff thrown while inside a development console, when i want to continue it just gives a black screen.

Randomly the game loses my connection with my controller.

And in a very too precise precision game, this has to have a stupid achievement where you have to finish the game without dying (so basically almost impossible).

It's Battleship, that's a plus but unfortunately too many negatives.

-Way too expensive (i got this in a bundle) with another expensive DLC that just unlocks some persons and areas that should be there for free.
-From my memory i learned to play this where you can't have surrounding ships, this one allows it, making it even less tactical and more based on luck.
-Slow games, where you can't skip or make things faster.
-The computer opponent knows too well where your ships are, even on easy and medium.

Way too short for that price, it takes 15 minutes (there even is an achievement for that and you can speedrun it in 5 minutes).
You get two! locations your house and a store, this is more of an itch.io project or a demo and shouldn't even be more then 1 euro, if this was an EA game where later episodes would become available for free, okay.

But no there is already a seperate storepage for episode 2 (and more?) suppose they are all the same 5 euro for 10-15 minutes of games play, makes 3 episodes 15 euro for 30 minutes, for 15 euro you can get a whole lot more gameplay out of much better games, it feels like an insult, and almost a scam.

Which honestly is a shame because underneath seemed like a quirky, decent adventure game, but definitely not as is.

Very cute teddy sokoban game, however it doesn't get anywhere to the point of getting stuck.
Which makes it okay perhaps for children, if you are an adult it would take about 10 minutes to finish it.

Therefor a 6/10 for adults, 7/10 for kids. If there were more levels, more difficult ones it could score higher.

I used to like Cosmic Void games very much (i made many guides for it), but as others mentioned this one is very short and too easy and they are becoming a dime a dozen.

And while dev didn't take the criticism well on the forum, i understand it's someone's art/work etc and feeling it attacked. But basically all the games you can see as having a template with slightly different dialogue, different items on items, and some different artwork, it's not like one of the games is completely different then the other.

I hope the dev can learn to take the criticism well from all the negative reviews, especially about this one that's it was way too short, which is fine but don't ask the same price as the other games then.
Make the next one longer again and perhaps try to make some more difficult puzzles and let us brain work for a bit like many classic point and click adventures did and do.

Not 1 negative review yet, which is impressive, and don't get me wrong i like my jrpg's and i am a big Final Fantasy fan and anything retro like this.

What's the biggest part of a rpg? Fighting. But let that be my biggest gripe.
Most fights you get bombarded with status effects thrown at you, which you barely can recover from if 5 enemies keep throwing them at you, often you get silenced (so no spells), poisoned, and confused.
My party consists of a warrior, paladin, sage, and duskar (black magic) so not a bad party.

Then healing, you can find some healing items along the way, or buy them in the stores, but the items in the store are not cheap, especially a revive potion cost 1000 when on average you get 20-40 per fight, it's just not worth it.
So you have to have some party members that can revive for you, however you are also not granted many base mp points either, you don't even get enough in the beginning as it cost 8 mp and you start with less.
You can defend and get some mp back, or worse go all the way back to the starting town and rest there at the inn, but it's tedious and not necessary, most rpg's you grind for exp and money so you can buy the equipment and items you need without going constantly back.

Story? It's very minimum and i often found myself questioning where am i even going and to do what even?

Very similar to The Room but it didn't felt as fun The Room.

It starts similar, style wise and puzzle wise, however in chapter 2 you will reach a small maze and as in most adventure games, they are of an annoyance.
Then chinese characters are also introduced, you know the figures with stripes that eventually will blur for you and start to all look the same, a knight puzzle that involves fast enough timed reflexes, a sun cube that made no sense to me (as did some other puzzles) that overall made it less fun then The Room for me.

As of the time playing there are only 2 video walkthroughs and they go really fast, it's click, click, click and constant rewinding to catch that part where you are stuck at, it really helps to have some kind of written walkthrough eventually.
Although you can skip hints i think (i have hints mode turned off).

Short but tedious FMV game, the storyline is flimsy to non existent. And there are hardly to no puzzles at all, a majority of the game even consists of taking pictures the game has in mind for you, while walking endless paths to find them.

If you think you get anything close to a Gabriel Knight adventure, you don't.
The only resembelance is the main character being a shadow hunter (through a troubled family).

First of all if you want to get more background story, play Markus Ritter - The Lost Family first, which is an ever shorter (but free) then this, but kind of annoying (most of the game consists of taking photographs).

There are several quirks that could easily be fixed like typo's, the short fmv loops making the characters look weird when you are looking at the screen for a minute.
But my biggest gripe is there just aren't (m)any puzzles, atleast none that will make you think, as the puzzles that are, are pretty straightforward and on top of that a flimsy (murder) storyline.
