Great game, I played the previous games outside of Steam and for this one only the demo, but if you love heist/stealth games with some horror, all Thief games are absolutely worth it!

DO NOT BUY!


It's bordering on a SCAM by now...
After 2 years the game STILL:


- Has tons of HACKERS!

(Leader boards FULL of people who did all the several-minute tracks in 1 second or less. People waiting at the start for half the race then passing everyone at the last second.)


- Is laggy!

(Memory leak will give you more and more lags/stutters the longer you play.)


- Has ridiculously slow and long loading times.

(Even on an NVME and 32gb RAM.)


- Is Pay2Win!

(The fastest cars are often paid DLC.)

Super generic shooter, only coasting on its success in the past.

Forum moderators delete negative comments and threads about the game.

Can't recommend ANY games on steam anymore as long as the moderator abuse continues.

10% gameplay, 90% running around.

At first it's great, there is plenty of combat, discovery and fun crafting/gathering and story sprinkled in between running around to find quest markers, but the higher you get, the more running around and less everything else it becomes, and the not-walking parts become a lot more repetitive on top.

Before writing this review I spent the last 2 hours trying to advance my main quest line by running around the same small spot marked with a quest marker to gather all the mushrooms for the apparently tiny chance of getting my quest item to drop, fungal spores.
And this wasn't a one-off, I feel like I spent my last 15 lvls (now lvl 55) with 90% running (and teleporting) across the map just to click a few quest items, then run all the way back.

Needless to say if I can't get to lvl 60 before getting sick of the gameplay I can't even play and rate the Brimstone expansion, but if you thought Anthem's mission design was dull, you have seen nothing yet.

With some really dumb design choices I can see why this failed.

But I can also see why it has a small but loyal fanbase.
It's quite fun and addictive.

We need more Warhammer XCOMs like this.

Absolute MUST-HAVE for every cyberpunk fan!

Not my type of gun but like all the other guns in the game it's definitely nice.

The cyberpunk atmosphere in this game is so THICC, Takeshi Kovacs couldn't cut it with his katana!


- The cyberpunk immersion is unbelievable.
- The combat is fun and challenging.
- The RPG and multiplayer aspects are basic but serviceable.
- Replayability is poor, despite New Game + and lack of level cap.


The game is incredible for what it is, an absolute masterpiece!
The menu alone is any cyberpunk genre fan's wet dream, but the game could have been so much more.
