@Mike P., Sorry for the delay. Hot bar the map. From the hot bar use it. Make sure you have space since that map will spread out. Each floor tells you the following: Stairs means you go up and down them, Puzzle means a puzzle in the room, I think there is a merchant system and anvil is crafting NPC. If you see a skull it's the boss of the dungeon set. Infinite Dungeons will scale to your level. This includes equipment and possible enchantments you pick up. One more advice clear the first few dungeon floors 100% so you can milk much exp as you can. I hope this helps.

Hey brother, I've been watching your YouTube videos on NWN Infinite Dungeons in preparation for my own runthrough. I have a character that I have run through the OC, SoU, and HoTU that I will be trying to get from level 28 to 40. One thing that I am not clear on is how to activate the floor map. I do know how to deal with the map in the up hand corner but it is my understanding that the floor map is something unique to Infinite Dungeons. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out with it.
