The true masterpiece of a game, incredible in it's every aspect. For me it is one of the best games of all times. I haven't played it since it came out, just finished it few days ago and realized why I loved it so much. Puzzles are creative and challenging while maintaining the learning curve well adjusted. Portal mechanics is perfect in itself and the new gel mechanics just added more flavor. The story is amazing and I loved learning more about Portal Universe and evolution of Aperture. World-building and storytelling are both top notch, smartly written and visually told in best way possible.
The art is on the same level as the mechanics and story - every element is conceived with so much attention and love from concepts to renders and textures. The level design is visually beautiful, well designed and tells a story. Music is epic, voice-overs too... I don't think there is anything negative that I could say about this game....
This game is worth every cent and it is a bargain even if you pay full price, but you can find it for less the 1$ on discount.

p.s. Have in mind that beside single-player and multiplayer and level creator, you can download a mod called - Portal Stories : Mel, and it's really good especially if you need more portal universe after finishing portal 2.

This is, in my opinion, the best game that came out of Armor Games Studios, probably because the creator had a clear vision of how the game should look like. The strongest side of it, obviously, is the art direction - beautifully illustrated backgrounds and characters. The story is also very good, nothing mindblowing, just interesting with a positive message at the end. The dialogues between characters are great, a lot of funny banter and insults. There are some hidden collectables that can give a different look to your character in the next playthrough. The puzzles are very straight-forward and easy, the platform elements are also on the easy side, but it was challenging enough to keep me playing a couple of times.
One of negative aspects is that aiming didn't work properly on my controller so I had to continue with mouse and keyboard. I've seen on forums that other people had problems with controller, so it is an issue. And also, the achievements are bugged - it is intended to get them all in 2 playthroughs, but consider yourself lucky if you manage to do it in 3, I was lucky... some people did after 6, and the worst thing is that there is no save/load mechanism, so if you forgot something you can't quit, you need to finish the entire game.
I bought this on e-bay for 1$, and I'm most satisfied with the bargain, if not, I would probably wait for a discount because, despite being beautiful, it's a bit pricey for a very short game.

I don't feel good for giving a thumb down for this game because there are a some positive aspects about it, but everything that is good in it is killed by terrible gameplay.
I never played sports/fighting management game before and honestly don't know if this is some system that people like and play, but based on the other comments it looks like even the people who recommended this game are dissatisfied with it's progress system. It is extremely repetitive and grindy, especially in the second half. It fills like - 250 steps forward, 230 steps back, and than again, and again. Beside that, the skill trees are unbalanced, there is one build that is far superior than any other, and even if you use the best build and know exactly what to do, you still need to grind your way to the top.
This game would be amazing if developers decided to combine management system with old-school beat 'em up, so that you actually play the game. That is the main issue of this game - no gameplay, you don't play - you watch animations. Let's say that you go to gym every day or every other day, what you do in gym is watching animations of your character working out - every day, for one minute... After 60 days, you watched 1 hour of looped animation of a guy working out, and it is the same for working, talking to girl, training, etc. Even when you're fighting, you are not doing anything, you just watch it. If you take out the system of going back and forward all the time and watching the same animations for hours there would be nothing left, you would finished the game in 1 hour. So the problem is not the faulty system, it is the lack of content that is stretched by adding grind. And even if you play it on easy, without loosing your points daily, it's faster to progress, but it's still tedious, repetitive and boring.
The best thing about this game is it's art style, pop culture references and easter eggs. There is a variety of different characters that you can meet and fight, characters that we know from 80's and 90's pop culture, like - Ninja Turtles, Robocop, Terminator, Mortal Combat, Street Fighter, Pulp Fiction, Jay and Silent Bob and action/karate/fighting movies in general. The story was ok, it felt like an action movies from the 80's, I actually really liked that you have two different paths to choose and the second half of the game can be different based on the path you've chosen.
If someone remade this game into playable beat 'em up type with slight management and rpg elements I would buy it just because the art is so good. I think that was the original plan, but during production they got overwhelmed and did not finished as intended so we got this half-baked fail of a system.

This is exactly what you need after finishing Portal 2. It is more than a mod, it's a whole new game. I would say that it is shorter than Portal 2, but the puzzles are more challenging, so I spent roughly the same amount of time playing it. You can clearly see that lots of time and love was invested in creation of this mod.
The story is 100% lore-friendly fan fiction. It was great to see other humans in Portal universe, also cars and trees... New assets are superb - I loved the old school tommy-gun turrents and portal device, they look like something designed by Valve for real. Lots of details, easter-eggs, new murals, ads, propaganda...
I was thrilled to hear more of Cave Johnson, his voice-over is totally believable. The other voice, personally, I didn't like that much, but for a mod it is more than decent. The music is good most of the time. I got stuck a few times, so the tracks became repetitive and annoying, but it was my fault for getting stuck.
Overall - it's great! If you already have Portal 2, don't think twice about it, If you don't, you should buy it, it's a masterpiece - and this mod is the second best thing.

I bought this game because it was very cheap (50 cents) and it looked good. Usually, the games witch such a low price are garbage, but this one surprised me a lot.
It's not a perfect game, but there is a lot of positive stuff about it. I would say the art is it's strongest side, especially the backgrounds that can be very detailed and atmospheric. The comic style frames for decision making is also a good design idea. It looks like a lot of both time and effort was invested in the production of this game.
The plot was kinda weakest point for me personally, it seamed a little bit naive and forgettable. Regardless, it is interesting enough to keep you invested for 2 or 3 playthroughs.
