The reason this game is negatively rated and universally hated isn't because it's not a fun game to play, it's because Blizzard repeatedly promised for this game to be so much more than it actually is and people are rightfully upset that it could have been so much more than it currently is. But it is still a fun experience with friends if you don't mind moba with shooter mechanics.

A lot of the gamebreaking bugs i've seen during the game's initial release have been patched out.
It actually has some of the most fun big team battle that i've played in a long time.

vehicles feel less overpowered than they did in previous battlefields as well which is a plus. teamplay is rewarded with the "class" system.

The end of match victory voice line things are cringe though.

I love this game so much... but it's not a good game.
Still nothing beats the hype of feeling you have just bested 99 other people in battle.
This is one of those games where i have very fond memories of my best wins, remembering all the events that went down leading to my eventual victory. Very few other games stand out in such a way.
Still I get a sour taste in my mouth every time i start it up, just thinking about how mis-managed it's been by it's developers. I can't blame them, they are trying their hardest. But constant struggles with game performance, bugs, feature updates, and loads of other issues that just never got resolved in time has had it's toll on the player-base.
I want this game to be successful, i really do. But I personally don't see myself getting into it again without the help of friends.

A properly good remake of a childhood classic.
Not much to say other than Toys for Bob did a great job nailing all the details. Unless you are intentionally trying to search for bugs, it's a pretty well put together game too.

Like overwatch but with hats.

Come for the horse achievements, stay for the chill music and gameplay.

10/10 would Marathon + Lightweight + commando again

This is the nerdiest game i've ever played. As a Computer Hardware major, it's just what i needed in my life.

If you really like Programming in Assembly Language, it's a must have!
