The controls are just not there. Not as tight as the originals, misjumps happen too frequently and it all escalates very quickly into unfair and irritating deaths. Want Crash? Emulate it instead.

This gioco is very tanta robba.

Don't trust review mentioning bad combat because that's completely false. If you like games like the first Alan Wake or Resident Evil 3 remake, the combat is quite similar to those with the sorta precise dodging and works well enough that you can get through the entire game without firing a single bullet or taking a hit.

The story is quite nice: not exactly horror, more like noir mystery. It's definitely refreshing compared to other games that try to overdo the horror theme and end up being extremely predictable with their jump scares or horror tropes.

The only real cons that are worth mentioning are some collisions getting you stuck on map props, but you can in 99% of the cases just save, reload, and you're good to resume.
