unlike a lot of indie dev releases the sequel is actually better than the original.

So much about this game is amazing but it's all brought down by how horrible the AI is.

The AI seems to function based on an AOE radius. If there's two guys looking at eachother but far apart and you shoot one the other one doesn't react, despite seeing his bud drop.

But I'll still leave a positive rating because despite the issues with the AI the game is still fun.

For a game that tries to be as realistic as possible, going as far as to remove sprinting from an FPS game the attention to detail is incredibly shallow.

The biggest one would be playing night time maps and not being able to shoot out lights. Or shooting propane tanks that don't blow up. TV/Monitors not shutting off when shot. It's the little things that break immersion.

The game's borderline unplayable on modern hardware. There are various fixes online for it but if you don't have two or three hours to mess around with downgrading the game it's going to be unplayable.

The game prompted me to buy premium before I even played the Prologue.

The devs had an incredible game on release.
They saw a drop in players, which wasn't a fault of their own, many big releases happened around the same time like Diablo 4.

They listened to Reddit and casual players within the community and have added inertia to the game, they increased the TTK, the support class has a helmet that takes more bullets to destroy than the body armor.

You can get the drop on someone now and they'll have time to turn on you.

I really tried giving this game a real chance but the progression is probably the slowest of any game I've ever played. I'm not enjoying Tier 2-3 fights yet I'm forced to spend months in those tiers.

I enjoy grindy games, I have over 10000 battles of World of Warships played, I unlocked pretty much every Battleship and Cruiser tree in that game but this game is so much slower than that.

Also, you get so little for the money you spend in this game you're better off just spending it on gacha anime girls.

I was very skeptical, based on the beta and 1.0 I did not have high hopes.

Season 2 has been incredible. There's a level of detail and care put into this game that you could only really get if the people working on the game are also actively putting in real hours playing it.

It's the perfect middle ground between PoE and D4.

Mining makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to me for this type of game.

Had a blatant cheater in my second game. They weren't even trying to hide it.

Can't say I'm surprised.

Also it's kind of wild how many reviews the game has when their all time peak was around 20k players, there are 1300 at the time of writing this.
