A stunningly beautiful game, where vibrant pixel graphics meet one of the most atmospheric soundtracks I can remember! On top of audiovisual candy the game is filled with exploring alien environments, very interesting puzzles, some platforming and even a few action sequences. The backstory behind everything is thoroughly sad, but the experience as a whole doesn't get too heavy as most of the time you are focusing to get things done instead of being reminded why everything is being done in the first place. The game gets rather difficult towards the end, but fortunately there aren't huge punishments for failing things, as checkpoints are rather frequent; though I've gotta admit I would've enjoyed having a health bar rather than being instakilled by every possible hazard and fall from a height of a few too many pixels. Aside from that pretty much my only complain is how slippery controls can feel from time to time, which makes the platforming sections just a bit more tricky than I think they were intended to be. All in all those are very minor faults though, and I really fell deeply in love with the game as a whole! There's only one thing that puzzles me: I have no idea why it's named The Way. ='D

A nice collection of some good ol' Disney NES games! I myself bought it because of the Ducktales games (they were as good as ever; I especially love the second one a lot) but there were some other nice ones, too. Both Chip 'n Dale games were quite enjoyable and Darkwing Duck was a bit difficult for my sausage fingers but still not bad. The only one I actively disliked was Talespin, which I think was a really weird addition, as every other game was a traditional platformer while Talespin is an auto-scrolling flight game. My brain doesn't really work well together with auto-scrolling in general, and this game makes everything extra hard by throwing bullet hell-like situations at you, by not always making 100 % clear what background graphics you can go "through" and by giving you very limited supply of lives and continues. But oh well, all in all I'd still recommend this collection, as majority of its games were a lot of fun!

I'm so sad that I have to leave a negative review for this game, because I really loved it at the beginning. From the very start everything is really cryptic and you have to put all of your brain power to work in order to accomplish barely anything, but like I said, first it's pretty fun. Basically the idea is to find all 25 different ways you can destroy the world by pressing a mysterious button. First there's nothing else to even interact with, but if you are smart enough you'll eventually find quite a bunch of weird devices to mess around with. But there's my problem: you have to be really, really smart to advance to the latter half or so of the game. I'm okay with easy-to-miss clues, but this game takes it way out of most people's league. First of all some of the clues themselves are really obscure so it's very likely you don't even know what sort of info or action the game is expecting - and even if you do manage to figure it out, you'd need to also know Morse code and mathematical sequences as well as have the patience to do things like change your computer's clock or just sit there and press a button over six hundred times. Oh, and when the game then gives you a difficult-looking math problem, you are not actually supposed to even solve it. =D So yeah, even if the game certainly has its charm and good moments, finishing it left me feeling extremely frustrated and dumb as a brick. Which I might very well be, but I'd rather not have a video game remind me of that.

A game that can be only described as beautiful. It's a very pure-blooded walking simulator so you don't do much other than wander around and listen to the story, but that has been made surprisingly engaging and intriguing by making the main environment really interesting and by mixing it all up by changing the way of storytelling completely from time to time. You go from reading a comic book or taking photos to even looking the world through the eyes of a baby, which definitely isn't something you get to do often in games, hahah! There's something very dream-like in the whole experience as well as a lot of melancholic undertones, but I still felt like it never got too weird or depressing to not be enjoyable. All in all a really pretty story to walk through of!

What a purely delightful game! From the technical point of view it's pretty much a few hours long chain of fetch quests with some minigames and puzzles here and there, but somehow the game's style makes it work perfectly. I'm sure the self-conscious humor doesn't amuse everyone, but I really loved vast majority of it; from the fighting game developers and glitching birds to the characters who straight up tell you not to talk to them until you've completed the previous quest. The minigames were also surprisingly entertaining and puzzles had really well balanced difficulty levels, as you do need to actually think what you are doing but not for so long that it would turn tedious. All in all I found the game absolutely worth my time - however it does kind of live or die based on if you like its style of humor or not. Fortunately there is a free demo available, so if you are not sure if the game is for you or not, you can always start by checking that out.

This was a game I tried to like, but in the end really couldn't. There is properly creepy atmosphere and at least one of the scares (when the shadow figure stares you silently from the doorframe when you turn around) I felt was a great one, but all of the negative technical details easily outweigh the good parts. For example the whole world blurs really badly whenever you move around, so in order to see anything you have to stand completely still. Turning also takes ridiculously lot of time and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the mouse sensitivity in any way. A much more minor complaint that just bothered me to no end is how every freaking sentence in the game seems to end with "..."! And when you top it all off with an ending that is honestly pretty lame, there is no way I could give this game a thumbs up.

Oh god, I had no idea my favorite childhood game was on Steam! =0 Good thing I finally found it and even managed to avoid all the technical difficulties that seem to be rather common with this version of the game among other players. On top of that the game doesn't have any sort of modern adjustments like saving or ability to take screenshots, but if that doesn't bother you too much I can wholeheartedly recommend this blast from the past. The art is incredibly pretty, the music is really atmospheric and gaming mechanics are varying enough to make each level unique. Some people seem to claim that the game is too hard, but there is an option to adjust the difficulty level - which is a completely valid option, no matter what others say! In easy mode there's enough lives and continues to keep the game going even through the most difficult parts, even if you are a somewhat mediocre player. It was so cool to finally see the end of the game, as the version I had as a kid always froze after the first adult Simba level. =')

The Room Two continues on the same path as the previous game of the series. It offers more interesting puzzles with some mysterious story elements in the background and the combination continues to work really nicely! Unlike in the first part now you are more often than not free to explore whole rooms instead of one puzzle box in front of you, which is mostly a great addition. You have more freedom and possibilities and it makes the puzzles a bit more difficult, which of course can be a good or bad thing depending on your skill and/or patience level. But fortunately there is a hint system you can use in case you get completely stuck. All in all I enjoyed this game almost as much as the first one and I'm eager to see where the series goes in the future!

What an enjoyable brain teaser! If you've ever felt like in games such as Zero Escape there's too much story and too little puzzle solving, this is a perfect game for you. About 95 % of it is interesting puzzles that have just the right amount of difficulty, while the rest is composed of story bits and mysterious atmosphere. As a whole the package works really dang well! The game is rather short, but fortunately there is also part 2 and as far as I know part 3 is also coming soon to Steam. I'll definitely check out those, too!

What a weeeeird little game! From the mechanical point of view it's a pretty traditional "search the area for hidden items to get access to other items" sort of game, but the narrative gives the whole experience a truly bizarre vibe. It's amusing and raises a lot of questions without any real answers, but whether you think that's a good thing or not depends on you. Honestly I myself have given "not recommended" for pretty similar games before, but this one earns it's title as "recommended" because of two things it does differently compared to those: it's free so you've got really nothing to lose, and there's a Youtube video where the maker of the game explains the story pretty... Thoroughly. It's not exactly what you'd expect, but somehow I think it is even better than anything I could've imagined.
