This game is a love letter to anyone who enjoys summoner gameplay and is, as far as I know, the only real necromancer game available.

I am still in disbelief on how much content the game has for its low price. It starts slow but quickly ramps up the difficulty, I am in mid game and things are getting really chaotic now (which is a good thing).

Controls are pretty simple, controlling your horde is a single button, charge or return. The main part comes from resource management. Managing your mana to cast buffs / debuffs, keeping track of your horde amounts and summoning more units, or even joining in the fight yourself. The game revolves around builds and resource management, you can choose to stay back and manage your horde, fight together with the horde or even have the horde supporting you.

Choosing what undead you want in your horde can have very different results, one of the most fun builds is to fill it up with nothing but undead chicken, and then make them suicide bomb the enemy with a staff magic attack. Despite being one of the strongest builds, there are some enemies which are implemented to prevent you from steamrolling the game completely using just one build, e.g. having ghost/elementals with low damage AoE attacks, those will wipe out all your chickens and they dont leave corpses when dead so you cant refill your chickens. The best part about the game is, once you unlock a skill, its unlocked forever and you can change skills or runes whenever you return to your base allowing you to change builds on the fly.

My only gripe would be enemies don't respawn if you fully clear an area. Though you could just leave some alive and go to main menu and click "respawn"

In consideration of the price, the gameplay and the fact its one of the only necromancer games done right, I give this a solid 10/10, what are you still waiting for?

A surprisingly good game. Despite being completely different games, DREDGE reminds me of Subnautica, both in atmosphere and exploration aspects.

The atmosphere, while chill in the day, quickly turns creepy when night falls. The game does a great job at making you second guess yourself and jump at shadows. As you progress, upgrade your ship and understand the mechanics, you start venturing out and staying longer in the night. Eventually, you no longer need to wait out the night.
The game does encourage you to explore at night. Certain fish can only be caught at night, rune-stones are only interactable at night and rare abnormal fish are much more common at night.

Regarding exploration, there are many secrets to discover, fish to catch and quests to do. You can choose to blitz through the game, or play it casually. There aren't any time restrictions except 4 timed quests that only start when you talk to the particular NPCs, NPCs who wear a robe.

Overall, I did give it a solid 9 /10.

As much as I like playing Darktide, I cant in good conscience recommend darktide in its current state. There's probably thousands of posts on how the current state of darktide is terrible and how there's predatory monetary / grind / game methods so I will not add to them.

TLDR: Darktide is a buggy, unfinished mess, with developers who think their players are idiots.

Wait for them to fix their game, wait for them to listen to their community, wait for them to stop treating us as idiots.

Its a masterpiece. I enjoyed my time playing Tales of Arise. Among the tales currently available on PC, I would rate it as the best. Outside of PC, I won't comment as I have not played them.

Pros
1. Denuvo: No Denuvo. For those who care about it anyways. (Just look at what happened to Deathloop)
2. Combat: Best combat of tales series. Mana was removed and replaced by AG, which regenerates in seconds, and allows you to spam artes with abandon. Combat overall feels fun and fluid.
3. Art: Its! Absolutely! Exquisite!! Nothing much to say about this, definitely a modern Tales.
4. Cast: The cast was wonderful. They all had a reason to be there, they joined the party in a way that felt natural. Their stories were expanded on as you progress and you find out reasons for their behaviors. The way they matured as the story progressed was just wonderful.
5. Story: I enjoyed the story. The main theme is "Good and evil" It started really black and white, but I like how they grayed it out as the story progressed and you realize nobody is actually evil. Minus maybe two of them.. There is also alot of foreshadowing. I am running my NG+ now and I am amazed by the amount of foreshadowing there was I missed. Woman in Red, First big flame boss, etc
6. Romance: Its been awhile since we had a tales with romance so the triple couple gets a thumbs up from me.

Cons
1. Language localization: Theres quite a substantial amount of typos. That and some of the translated words feels off.
2. DLC: Cosmetic DLCs, are not actually just cosmetics and grant perks and artes you will miss out if you don't own them.
3. Paywalls: As mentioned in 2, but expanded on this, they also sell you packs to make the game easier to farm, examples been 2x exp, 2x SP. SP is a VERY annoying resource to get even with 2x SP. Also Advertisements can be quite intrusive, you see it everytime you go to the campsite. On PC you could just download a trainer if it annoys you too much.
4. I would also like to point out there is something wrong with OP1, its great, until you hear the original. Just try listening to the original HIBANA song and compare it to the one in Arise, you will know what I mean.

[TLDR]
Its good, worth full price. If you intend to play this seriously, I would suggest getting the ultimate edition (See Cons 2.). Although the game can be completed easily without DLC (standard).

Do you like sniping?
Do you like sneaking?
Do you like guns?
Do you like exploding heads?

If yes, then get it.
If no, why are you still here? (unless you live in Germany and had the gore censored, my condolences)

The remaster for mass effect is pretty much hit or miss. If you have no issues running the remaster, its great. If you encounter issues (e.g. origin sync problems / crashing / FPS drops) then you probably won't like it. As for myself, I did not encounter any issues. Looking at the number of positive reviews, I did say it is rather uncommon to have game breaking issues.

There are a few points which gives a demerit to the remaster
1. Mouse acceleration is default on, theres workarounds to turn it off (check the guide section for this game)
2. No FoV slider (personally, not bothered about this)
3. 3 layers of DRM (Steam > Origin > ME legendary launcher, which then launches the specific game you want)
4. Supposed "censorship" because camera angle no longer shows Miranda's ass in a few scenes, to be perfectly frank, this is a complete non-issue, but some people take offense so I shall leave this as a demerit.

Personally, these demerits don't concern me enough to detract me from enjoying the trilogy.

The mass effect trilogy is (in my own opinion) one of the best RPGs I played, and the legendary edition offers you all 3 games as well as all DLCs (except Pinnacle station from ME1, because Bioware lost the file). You are looking at around 150 hours of gameplay for all 3 games if you want a full complete play-through.

If you haven't played the trilogy, this is definitely worth full price, if you played the trilogy before, I did still say its worth full price with the improvements made to the game. Only real issue I have with the remaster is Bioware didn't change the ending for ME3, and ME4 was teased last year December so there's now a canon ending, and for those who played the trilogy before, you guys / gals probably know which one it is.

Spoiler thoughts:
I am just pissed all sentinel life gets killed even though I spent effort to broker peace between the geth and quarians. That and EDI.

Early Access Review
I did not like Everspace 1, I even refunded it, the rougelite and fuel elements annoyed me in less than an hour

Everspace 2 though, was everything I wanted everspace 1 to be. Gone is the rougelite and fuel elements, its now more about exploration.

I was on the fence about getting Everspace 2 when I read about kb/m controls been bad, to be honest, it isn't that bad. Could use some improvements but if you played No mans sky, its just about the same control scheme. Though I would much prefer a snap-to for kb/m and not the floaty aiming, unlike no mans sky, everspace 2 emphasizes on dog-fighting

Gameplay can get repetitive, but to be fair its early access. We will see about what is coming.

All in, this game could use some improvements but even in its current state, it isn't a bad game. Looking forward to see what will be added

Cyberpunk 2077, flop of the year, lie of the decade.

Many features were promised to us players, basically none were delivered. Basic things such as factions, customization, even part of melee combat (katana supposed to be able to block bullets) are missing or barely implemented. The 3 life paths you chose? Only affects the first 20 minutes, it looses basically all meaning after that. Prime example? Take street rat life path, Parde will still treat you like its your first meeting if you meet him later on.

The prologue? well it didnt have any meaning, you get a several month time skip shown to you in a few cutscenes, icing on the cake is that characters make mention to events you didnt even know happened or are shown in a 10 second scene before flashing to the next one.

Performance issues are a dime a dozen, many players are unable to even run the game. Bugs plague the entire game, many of which game breaking and requiring a save reload (such as getting stuck in a window and not being able to move). Combat such as attempting to use the Mantis blades, sprinting while attacking an enemy cause an animation lock where you stab your blades into the enemy and lift him/her into the air for 10 secs all while in the middle of enemy fire. I have died so many times to this I stopped trying to role play a cyborg character and used a katana instead.

AI is a mess, cops teleport behind players with no chase or anything. Cars do not have basic avoidance system and if you park a bike at the side of the road, you will cause a massive traffic jam. Enemies are brain dead and dont respond to stimuli during combat at all, and yet can somehow spot a dead body through walls (floors even).

The story while somewhat engaging, is a mess when you look deeper into it.
Jackies death for example: Theres medical nanomachines everyone has (air-hypno), he goes to die from bleedout after a fall and he didnt heal for an entire misson. Did the writers conveniently forget the story when trying to push his death? It would have made more sense if he recieved a wound too large to heal from, maybe when Adam smasher hit the cab, could have made it a scene where he severely injured Jackie. Icing on the cake, shortly after, you get shot in the head, buried in a landfill, and go into shock. V uses a single air-hypno and he gets back in the fight and open fire at murderous cyborgs riding bikes.
Big dystopian world with mega corporations holding the leash? Cool story, except you will only be dealing with a single corporation your entire game. There is no secret conspiracy theory that turned out to be true, no real engaging element. Its just Johnny is in your head, gonna kill you, join his vedenta against Arasaka, help Arasaka or just plain ol shoot yourself in the head instead?

Did I have fun? Maybe? I went into cyberpunk without much expectations and did not really watched any videos. It had its moments but I can safely say, unless CDPR is willing to overhaul the entire game system such as AI, police response, customization and most importantly, story and factions, Cyberpunk 2077 isn't going anywhere.
