This is the best single player PVE only extraction shooter available at the moment.
Nothing even comes close. Worth every penny.

Developers have announced they are going to need you to start a new save, again.

They have been doing this for every major patch in early access, while it was barely acceptable behavior during early access, we are way past EA. This is completely unacceptable.

Don't get the game. Why bother when you need to wipe your saves and restart every few months?

Get off your high horse.
1. This is a PvE game, why the hell are you so stringent about any of this.
2. How the hell do you not have an anti-cheat but ban people based only on reports
3. Bans are also permanent and unappealable?
4. On top of bans being permanent and unappelable, you have the gall to write that you will take legal action against people?
5. You even want everyone to lookup your stupid spreadsheet to check if every quest is modded before joining it?
6. Rather than focusing on fixing performance or UI issues, the very first thing you do is to ban people?

This game was barely even worth the price with all the performance issues, UI issues and lack of content. Now its completely not justifiable. Now, every time you join a quest, you take a risk of a ban.

Don't even bother getting it, just boycott crapcom until they decide to change their policies.

If you notice an engineer brain drain recently. This is probably the reason.

I am supposed to be a space marine.
A living, walking tank spreading death and mayhem on the emperor's foes.

Instead what I got was:
* Gets chain staggered by every trash mob
* Gets torn apart by mere chip fire from every range mob
* Dies

Nope. Not my thing.
I was expecting a "shooty shooty bang bang boom", not this attempted combination of a souls-like and dynasty warrior. The guns feel like BB guns but with ridiculous recoil and low ammo to boot. Melee on higher difficulties is just asking for death.
There isn't alot of content for that pricetag, and multiplayer being 1 of each class only is the cherry on top.

If you are a die-hard warhammer fan, then this game might satisfy you. If you are looking for a horde shooter, there are better ones out there with more content for cheaper prices.

There is difficult, and there is unplayably difficult. Even basic enemies will 1 - 2 shot you (and I am at lvl 300).

Bosses? If your idea of fun is dodging for 30 secs (and if you fail a single one you 1hko) just to land a 1 sec attack window, then sure, its "Fun".

If you ever fought Malenia in the base game and found her difficult, just know that bosses are even more b.s than her now.

I do not recommend this to any average gamer. Thoese who enjoy this are masochists with too much time on their hands.

Its good.

After more than a year of waiting, they finally fixed the game performance, I am no longer getting 100% CPU usage everywhere. Came back and noticed my favorite weapons were buffed over the year I didn't play.
Keep up the good work arrowhead!! And try not to nerf the fun again this time, would you?

No. I do not recommend this game. Not with the way things are going.

Every weapon that gets released which is remotely fun/good, gets nerfed to the ground and becomes trash within a few days.
New warbonds that you spend weeks or real cash grinding for? Released as useless weapons.

And yet with all the crappy nerfs going on, enemies keep getting buffed. Stalkers are now basically invisible and their nests are no longer taggable on the map. Spore spewers now have armor and too many other b.s stuff to list.

Even gameplay mechanics are getting nonsensical. Why is it that deflected shrapnel from enemy armor will now fly to THE NEAREST ALLY, shots can even deflect 180 degrees right back at the shooter. https://imgur.com/fkuYuIh

Whoever is in charge of balancing should be fired. The game has gotten more unfun with every update and I honestly do not like the vision arrowhead is trying to project onto it.

Gameplay? Boring.
Graphics? Ugly.
Story? A Joke.
Price? Absurd.
Bugs? Buggy.

Redfall is an art. An art of everything that goes wrong in game design.
Redfall is a sign. A sign of how anti-consumer and un-fun recent games have been.
Redfall isn't worth it. Not even free. Your time is precious and it's worth more than this... junk.
