"DO NOT WORK HERE. They put you in a rickety pod and make you murder bugs while exploiting the natural landscape. Have seen many of the staff perform unsafe modifications to equipment. Bottled spring water not available anywhere on site."

it's actually pretty good? feels well-optimised for a game of its scale, and the multiplayer maps are nice; they took a lot of lessons from the best bits of BF1, BF:BC and BattleBit Remastered; Singleplayer is forgettable but the MP is as good as it's been in a long time. I'd write more but I gotta go sit in a bush as Recon brb

you sneak up behind unsuspecting enemies and they're like "please dont kill me :(" and then your dude kills them. 0/10 i feel bad, but the sniping mechanics are kinda fun

what if cod: mobile had no content, but also had no SBMM.

the game is built to create a similar feeling to Modern Warfare 2019's multiplayer; players are agile, weapon handling is swift and the time-to-kill is as short as you'd expect.

as a PC player with mouse & keyboard, you'll wipe the floor with 90% of the opponents you meet, and a little bit of pwnage goes a long way when it comes to inspiring a positive review. the weapon and perk selection is limited, but customisation is extensive, utilising the same 5-point system that was in MW 2019 and with far more choices for each attachment; and the stat changes are clearly labeled with each, unlike MW19's vague descriptions.

there's two "leagues" to choose from when matchmaking; one has a more tactical approach to character control, with limited sprint and none of that slide-cancelling business, while the other encourages the kind of movement tech that any zoomer will love (monster-addicted millennials notwithstanding), so you can pick the style of gameplay that feels more comfortable for you.

map aesthetics are simple and clean, so you can see clearly what you're looking at, and the game runs at a crazy high FPS rate on pretty much any hardware; people playing on toasters don't suffer a disadvantage compared to those playing on thousand-watt supercomputers.

my only complaint is the abundance of paid cosmetic content when there's only three weapons in the assault rifle class; you can bet your uncovered six that each of these guns has a a million blueprints you can buy with real cash; all complete with a paint job designed to damage your retinas as well as your psyche. man, war sure seems profitable if you're a hippie with a spraypaint can.

all in all, it's quick, clean casual fun with a decent amount of development potential, would recommend if you just wanna shoot some dudes while having short load times and high framerate.
