the game was fun, but after 8 hours of playing, it stopped running at all, no matter what I even did.

before the 2.0 and 2.1 updates, the game almost felt complete, perhaps needing a little polishing, and a couple of bosses and scenes would not have been superfluous, but recent updates have left mixed impressions and they are rather negative. previously the game left some pleasant little innuendos that didn't seem like a bad thing, especially with regard to Sybil and the mask.

there are things that I like about the update, but I just can't stand how long the whole segment with Sybil is, especially the meat world. the problem with the location stretching too much was with the Henderson apartments, the location is a monotonous boring maze with repetitive enemies that really pisses me off, I just want to get out of here as soon as possible, but with the level difficulties aside from easy, it can take a couple of hours, if not more

it's about the same with Sybil. at first, the location is very surprising with the design of the opponents and the pulsating animation, but after two hours I just want it all to end. the every new opponent is nastier than the previous one, and after a dozen, it gives not a "wow" effect, but "ah ♥♥♥♥, here we go again" all the attacks of these opponents are generally the same, and the fact that the meat world is not very necessary for a COMPLETE exploration but simply simplifies tbh a not very difficult fight with Sybil. it makes me regret the time spent.
"the promise" ending seems like fanservice to me, the game even in the "good" (denial, no going back) endings left this small feeling of hopelessness, the feeling that the presence of the Visitor will be remembered forever. in promise, almost everything is fixed as by God's will, friendship has won, the Visitor has left! very naive, I prefer unity.

the mask ending has an interesting idea, I even like the new floor or the fact that you can fight mutated astronomers. but after all this walking in my 10+ hour walkthrough, it doesn't seem interesting, it's exhausting, and the ending was absolutely not worth the effort. Francis seems to be trying to squeeze as much as possible into the already narrow confines of one apartment building in Montreal

I also wanted to describe here the "fixed" door of teeth location, but I'll just say this: IT'S DISGUSTING, it's too much, it was my favorite small location, but this "final" expansion just pissed me off.

the game actually has many advantages and features. artstyle can rightfully be considered unique, for me this game has something that other RPGs don't have, it's literally one of the most interesting and fulfilling games in this genre in recent years... 5-7 years, probably.

I want to love this game, but if updates add another 20 hours of content, it definitely won't make it better, rather the opposite

definitive edition is not my thing however its hard to spoil the experience that the game has given me for many years

it would be better if you left the corpse called the deponia trilogy alone

i just spent almost 14 hours to get the same ending lol
