I'm a big Dragon Age fan and the moment this game was announced, I was excited for it on the spot and didn't care how different it was from its predecessors. I was just happy to be going back to Thedas again. I don't understand the hate this game got but it definitely wasn't something it deserved.

This is.... the best Dragon Age game I've ever played since the first time I played Inquisition and I have played all of the Dragon Age games. Veilguard is a very well-polished game with so many beautiful locations and graphics. The story has its ups and downs but gets better and peaks toward the end. Gameplay is so much fun and I actually prefer this hack & slash over the tactical approach. Character customization in this game is also much better with so many different options and I love how I can build my Rook's backstory based on all the cool factions to choose from which makes this game highly replayable. Then there's the soundtrack which is fantastic and suits it well, I can't wait to download it.

But what really makes this game shine is character development. All of the companions have a unique story that grows as the story progresses, many moments are a slow burn but it's all worth it. I enjoyed helping them overcome their personal struggles and find their way in the world so that we can take down the Gods together.

In the end, this game is incredible and was lots of fun to play through, I really hope it will receive more positive revaluation in the future. Just give the game a chance and don't listen to the haters.
