Incredible!

Story good, music excellent, gameplay good, great PC performance, and beautiful yet scary visuals.

Pretty good,

I enjoyed the gameplay, music, visuals, and the story. The game heavily relies on the player falling for the illusion of the enemies being able to attack at any moment and them being dangerous. Which did work for the most part, but if the illusion disappears after getting grabbed a few times and just being able to continue like nothing happened, it's unable to get it back since there are only a few types of enemies. The environments are really good-looking. And the portals are cool as well. The story itself is mostly good, except it does give me a bit of Tomb Raider 2013 vibes with literally everything going wrong with falling through the roof every 5 minutes just before escaping something, which gets old fast. Was it really that hard to get the main character naturally in a creepy environment without just forcing her in it by destroying the ground every minute? Dark Descent barely does this and mostly forces the player to do it, which allows your mind to make it more scary.

It took a few hours before it actually hooked me. The first few were mostly mindlessly exploring, but when you find enough information, you can start connecting the dots, which was really enjoyable.

Would recommend.

Some stealth sections were a bit much. I really enjoyed the story and the idea behind it.
