Capcom have struck again. Their consistency is scary. Hit after hit and they returned back to RE with a massive BANG! Resident Evil: Requiem is by far the most polished, fleshed out, incredibly made and scariest of the lot. This has been the easiest 10/10 I've given for a game in an incredibly long time. The two seamless styles of gameplay from Grace's claustrophobic, ''hide and seek'' and limitless resources takes the player back to the classic RE days compared to Leon's Gun Ho John Wick style of action mowing down any and all enemies with a huge variety of weapons to choose from. Capcom have simply shown why they remain to be the kings of Survival Horror and why Resident Evil is the epitome of how horror should be. Fantastic. I need more of this.

Team Ninja have been COOKING so much recently. Nioh 3 is an excellent addition to the series and surpasses 1 and 2 in almost everyway from gameplay elements to story writing. Memorable characters with great personalities, open world so vast you can explore the ends of the earth, great variety of enemy types and amazing side bosses. Nioh is the peak of how a souls game should be. Over the top with everything just about right and balanced. Will we see Nioh 4? I bloody hope so!

I wish Steam had a mixed button because that's how I felt about the game, mixed reactions. First off the gameplay loop is one of the most horrendous I've experienced. It's so stale and repetitive that I almost dropped the game at a certain point but ended up getting used to it. If it wasn't for the bland gameplay loop, the story on the other hand however was okay. Not the best and not the worst, just okay. Lincoln took some time to get open to but as the game went on I actually liked him as a protagonist. The game itself ran fine for the most part but during certain missions, actions wouldn't trigger and I'd have to reload the checkpoint and begin from where I had left off to past that bug. Overall my experience wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. 5.5/10

Nice little game which I got on the Steam sale for like 2 quid. Very short however (around 7-8 hours long) but for the price I paid, can't really complain about it. Performance was poor at times which consists of frame drops and lag at times, fixable by following methods posted on the community hub by users which resolve the issues. Graphics by the way, absolutely beautiful considering the fact it originally came out in 2013-14, over 12 years old and it looks really, really good. Gameplay is great, bit stiff at times when it comes to parrying with shields but you get used to it, lots of QTE's with different variety of executions. Overall the game is pretty solid. 7/10

This was a delight to play! A very dark, twisted and gruesome tale told in such a well written manner that you have to take breaks at times due to how insane some scenes can get. That's Silent Hill in a nutshell and Konami don't shy away from the dark and sensitive topics when it comes to telling horror stories. Absolutely stunning graphics and artstyle, combat is very clunky but over time you get used to the system, Hinako isn't a fighter, she's a normal school girl fighting for her life. I absolutely enjoyed every single moment of this game.

Konami is truly BACK!

Acquired for free when I originally pre-ordered the game and honestly I don't understand the whole negativity surrounding the expansion. It was a nice little way to tie up loose ends, the way the expansion ended is how the base game SHOULD have ended and I do understand some criticism towards it. However, it's not as bad as how it's being described at all. Awaji is a beautiful little island and exploring it was great fun. I do wish it was bigger but I'll take it. The Bo Staff is one of my favourite weapons, definitely the big highlight for me when it came to the expansion. I hope we see more story content for the game but the way the expansion ended, feels like Naoe and Yasuke's story has come to an end.

Been itching to play this game since it got announced and I'm absolutely having a blast with it. Cronos is essentially if Dead Space & Callisto Protocol had a baby, a heavy inspiration from both games in terms of combat and the small, finer details which dedicated fans can spot. Optimisation is pretty spot on (High Settings - RTX 4070) and runs smooth as butter. Definitely one of the smoother releases we've seen over the years and quite a popular one at that. Bloober really have turned a corner since SH2R and I'm very excited to see what else they have up their sleeves.

Easily one of my favourite games in recent time, I've played this game three times in total now (twice on PS5 Launch & NG+ and now third time on PC). Shift Up have shown to the gaming industry and to gamers all around the world that having to follow a certain criteria to please big wigs and suits doesn't end well. This feels more like a passion project, a project the developers had full expression with, heart and soul poured into it without having to pander to certain dynamics and audiences. Uncensored and fully enjoyable, the way gaming should be. When you take politics out of it, you enjoy art for what it is, not for who it's catered to. Having 100%'d the game already, explored everywhere and unlocked pretty much almost everything, Stellar Blade is a lover letter to Nier fans and fans alike who just want to enjoy games for what they are meant to be. This is my second time playing full price for this game and the port runs absolutely smoothly and looks absolutely stunning. The unlocked frames is such a blessing and not to forget the mods (I bought the PC version specifically for modding). Cannot wait for the sequel, I will be there day one

A nicely fleshed out sequel which improves gameplay and implements new mechanics compared to the first game. Graphically improved, more depth into the story and backstory to characters and of course a brand new mobile phone to use with unlimited life to use your flashlight this time round. Very creepy new enemies which give goosebumps when facing them especially in the new environments you explore in. Can't wait for the third title

Played this game years ago but decided to replay the series again due to the announcement of the third instalment so I had to visit the first two titles. It's a great indonesian horror game with creepy scares and enemies. Clearly the games are inspired by Fatal Frame and it's clear as day which again is another great horror series. There are a few bugs and glitches that could have been fixed but overall a great experience, short but great.
