I like this program, it's easy to learn and if you want to make a game like Dagon Quest, you'll only need the ability to write a game & the graphics. If there's a feature you want in your game but can't program yourself, there's a lot of free-to-use scripts made by the community.

If you want to make RPG games, you should at least try RPG maker (try lite version first if you're not sure you want to buy it).
