The key to enjoying Rust is incredibly simple:

Find a good server

Find a good place to build your base

Build, gather, survive, enjoy

One important piece of advice: don’t trust anyone.
After over 5,000 hours of gameplay, I’ve learned that surviving solo is often the best way to avoid betrayal.

The graphics are intense and beautiful, and once you get used to the system, crafting and building become intuitive and rewarding.

Rust is still the best game I’ve ever played.
There’s so much to explore: electrical systems, PVP, PVE, raiding, chatting, base building, and more. Like any online game, there are cheaters — but Facepunch does an awesome job at banning them quickly. The game receives constant updates, new features, and improvements.

Overall: A unique, brutal, unforgettable survival experience. Highly recommended.
