Sages do not follow any viewpoint, nor do they take a side in disputes.
How could anyone judge or categorize someone who has no preferences,
who does not cling to what is seen or heard nor felt.

They do not construct a 'self' out of theories, nor grasp towards identities.
Greed, hatred, delusion, ignorance is absent, only equanimity is left.
They do not say 'this is supreme', 'that is inferior', nor 'this is equal'.

They have shaken off all hindrances, deconstructed the self through introspection, and pacified the senses. At the very nexus of their being, mindfulness has become the rhythm through which they operate in: thought, speech, and action; daily.

They do not create intention through opinions, nor act or react foolishly in-regards to cause and effect.
They are relying on nothing, attached to nothing.
A person who does not grasp does not engage in disputes. For them, there is no need to declare 'this is true' or 'that is false.'

Having shaken off all views, they wander the world without creating friction.
The sage does not take a stand on anything seen, heard, or thought in the world. They do not formulate a theory; they do not enter into the web of definitions. For the one who is free from labels, there are no delusions. For the one liberated by wisdom, there are no chains."
