Very charming Paper Mario-esque RPG. Light hearted and some fun combat, even the hard mode makes you work a little. Combat has some fun mechanics like stacking enemies and shields, lots of ways to approach various scenarios. Cool project from two developers. Cool story setting from riffing on fairy tales and stories. If you liked Paper Mario or Thousand-Year Door, you'll like this.

It's not long, it's not difficult, but it is absolutely a work of art. The music, the visuals, the storytelling are all top notch. I'm not particularly a person that emotionally resonates with many games but this one still lingers in the back of my mind.

It definitely isn't for everyone. If you are intrigued and have a little time and money to spare, I implore you to experience Gris.
