Ain't no way someone's leaving a negative review because they are unable to play a game or do a simple Google search to determine whether DF is for them or not, because it's clearly not for everyone, but it's an absolutely amazing game.

Pretentious and absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story with your average "open to interpretation" ending. When will developers stop making story so "deep" to the point that it makes no sense? That was like half of the interest i had going for this game.

I have finished the game. One of two (potentially more) endings. I ended up getting the "good" one because i simply couldn't achieve the "bad" one, because it requires a lot of preparation, which I wasn't ready for.

The game is good. Really good. It shows the complexity of a character, who may or may not suffer from a case of mental illness, and the only way to cope is to climb, higher and higher every time.

Before getting into spoilers, I wanna point out something. First of all, if you ever make a jump, make sure you can 100% make it. I lost about an hour of progress in total, once because I miscalculated, the other time because the character just decided to stumble and die.
Second of all, when you will be faced with a choice, make sure you are WELL prepared, if you are not planning on picking option on the left. This is very important, and I wish I knew this earlier, because it pretty much locked me out of the ending I was going for, forcing me to reload my save file.



Now for the SPOILERS - the fact that they made the entire goal of your game a "bad" ending was pretty obvious from the beginning, but I still really liked it. To me personally, it conveyed the message of not letting go of something that pulls you down and eventually kills you, which is what happens to Aava if she reaches the summit of Kami. Perhaps it is even the "true" ending, because in the post-credit scene, if you choose the option to return home, Aava looks very distraught and "out of it", perhaps not knowing what to do with her life and feeling empty. This is purely my interpretation of course.

In the end, my main compain would be the length of the game. The last third of it, before the "climax" was starting to feel like a slog, especially when some of the areas were downright horrendous to traverse. This it most definitely intentional, seeing how the story of the game played out, but it still left me very frustrated at times. But, overall, I really enjoyed the game. Game Bakers cooked as always, literally and figuratively.

This is my GOYTY 2026 and 2027 in advance. I love my new inbreed of shooters. This game is so fun, you can even ride a horse! GLORY TO ISRAEL!

Those skins are cool. Genuinely, the only negative reviews are from nerds who don't go outside and are only interested in 40K. If you're one of them, this one's not for you, go play Total Warhammer and wait for the 40K installment or something, I don't have that much time to spare, so I'm enjoying what I got.

Me when i enjoy goyslop from Sony with an """open""" world and a totally-not-annoying level system. I love games that handhold me and forbid me from being creative! I love when the game stops me from exploring the areas because I haven't finished the story! I love backtracking to the very beginning of the map just because I didn't have a certain item to traverse certain terrain and unlock a certain thing!

This is genuinely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just play Breath of the Wild instead.

There's no way my 2000$ PC can't run a GACHA GAME at 120 frames on high settings. Insanely poor optimization.

This idle game is so stupid and quirky I love it, definitely something Jerma would enjoy, and I love Jerma

This game is amazing and I love seeing people getting mad over the fundamental aspects of an extraction shooter.
This game has got it all - no ♥♥♥♥♥♥ inertia, no checkmarks on loot that you bring from raids, easy to understand UI, no overly convoluted or """realistic""" mechanics and a very unique and pleasing artstyle.

If you're angry about people killing you and seek some magical "sportsmanship" or "cooperation" - this is not the game for you, go play STALKER or any another coop shooter.
This is NOT a coop game, it's a PvPvE game. Yes, you will be shot by roof and bush campers, that's how extraction shooters ALWAYS worked and ALWAYS will work.
And despite all of that, if you actually use your brain, manage your resources and gauge what firefights are worth getting into and what aren't - you will be met with an amazing PvPe experience, the best that the market has to offer right now.
