I wasn't able to play long before it crashed. It doesn't control that well, and it just isn't a good game at all. I am incredibly disappointed with this game, and I had been wanting it for years. I did get the game refunded.

Early Access Review
Okay, I’ll start off with this; yes it crashes, freezes, and is buggy, but it is in early access so that is to be expected. The rest of this review is not going to be talking about that issue.

I LOVE My Time At Portia, and this is similar to it, but there are a few differences. It is like the devs are getting closer to the pinnacle of the series. There is A LOT to do for it being an early access game. I do wish there were more villagers (and that Logan was dateable, but that isn’t a point against the game, I’m just weird 🥲). If you liked Portia but wanted it to feel a bit more RPGish, you will love Sandrock as well.

They revamped the combat system, in my opinion, it was a good decision. They added a like “armor break” but not really thing.

They also changed how the skill trees work, instead of being able to use skill points that are shared between combat, gathering, or social, each one of the three major skills earns its own skill points.

They also did add a bit more challenge in finding some resources like wood, as well as needing to have a constant stash of water for your machines to work. It would be nice if you could adjust the consumption of water in a menu to make the game easier for casual players, but I don’t have a problem with it personally.

The visuals are leagues better than Portia, which is already a beautiful game, but Sandrock kicks that up to 11.

There are more customization options for the PC that there was in Portia, though I wish there were more clothing options, though again, it is early access, so that will probably change.

The character models are also really good for the NPCs as well, and they do have way more personality than the NPCs in Portia.

In summary, it is worth the purchase now, but there may be big changes because it is in early access.

Great game, if you liked Black Monkey Studios games, you will like Mazjojo (Herculion) games.

Great game, 10/10. Also super active modding community. 440 hours is just the time I have on Steam since /I've/ owned it on steam. I played with family share, because my sister had it, I play it on mobile, both on android and IOS, and am planning on getting it for the switch. I have probably close to 1000 hours in this game, and love it to death.

I LOVED this game as a kid. It's original release date was in 2001, so I was about 8-10 years old. I do still love this game, however, please note that this is an older game. If you play games on normal difficulty usually, you may want to play this game on easy. Games were a lot harder back then, and healing items are hard to come by, and save points are a thing. This game isn't as hard as something like Bloodborn or Dark Souls, but it is from the era of harder games. Keep that in mind when you are considering buying this. I do recommend buying it though because I still love this game! :)

I do like this game, a lot. If you liked Horse Hall, you'd like this game. There is a bit more about the world because you are playing as a prince who has been magical for generations instead of a wildseed I haven't got very many of the endings yet, but I am glad that William is a dateable character.

I was enjoying this game, but around level 19 or 20, it forces you to stealth past some enemies, and if you are caught you have to start over. I didn't even attempt that mission because forced stealth is awful, and sucks the fun out of games. If you have this forced stealth mission, chances are you will have more in the future. I am not saying I hate stealth in games, but forced stealth is entirely different, especially in MMOs and THEY FORCE YOU TO START THE MISSION OVER IF YOU MESS UP ONCE. This also is not a side quest, it is a main story quest.

Early Access Review
When I got this game, I had wanted it for a while, and it was bought for me for an early chrismas present. This game is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wonderful. I have more than 100 hours in this game, and let be tell you, it is amazing. It is visualy stunning and the music is on point. even in Early Access, it has 80 or more hours of gameplay, no problem. I do highly recommend this game and anyone who likes games like Stardew Valley, Haarvest Moon, or Animal Crossing.
