Note: I was stupid lucky and was spared any game-breaking bugs.

While this might not be the best port, with a lot of issues like glitchy sound and some poorly scaled effects, this is still one of few "recent" Ubisoft games that actually has a soul and where you can feel that the developers actually cared and didn't just do it because they were contractually obligated to make it.

There are some great memorable moments in here, highlight being two before the final missions. The gameplay itself actuallly feels really good, though melee sometimes has some slightly questionable hit detection. Shooting feels great and the gore effects on zombies give clear visual feedback without cluttering the ui with health bars.

I am actually surprised by how good the game looks, considering it's a port of a WiiU game with one of the best graphical effects removed. Still the enviornments look great thanks to some stellar art direction and lighting. The WiiU specific features were ported decently, though their implementation is nowhere near as smooth as they were on that platform.

The levels are well designed, with lots of hidden paths and secrets to discover. These secrets actually help you and arnen't just dumb collectibles.

While the story is mostly told through voice overs and the characters don't really develop over the course of the game, they are still fairly entertaining and well acted.

The central gimmick of switchign to a different survivor every time you die is honestly genius and it creates really great moments. it's hard not to get attached to your character and it certainly is a unique feeling to have to shoot them in the head to retrieve your gear after respawning.

So overall, this is a weak port of a great game. Still, I do recommend it over all, though I would most certainly recommend you save often.

If you were to throw 'Mirror's Edge' and 'The Forest' into a blender, you'd get 'Die Young'. That is the most apt description I can give. Though it is a little misleading, since it is far closer to 'Mirror's Edge' than the forrest.

As a "survival" parkour first person adventure, this game is pretty great. Parkour feels excellent (except for the occasional jump) and manages to capture the same sense of speed and control the original Mirror's Edge had. For that alone, I would recommend this game. "Survival mosty consists of drinking enough water to keep your stamina from being capped down. Food only restores Health. The combat is a bit simplistic, does get a lot better though, once you aquire a crossbow.
Stealth is emphasised early on, can serve you well until the end of the game though. I also really loved the game world, both in design and graphically.

The Story is pretty decent, it's good, that is possible to agree with a few of the villain's ideas (like the world being built on exploitation), whle wholeheartedly disagreeing with his execution. There is also one interesting moral choice towards the end. The voiceacting was mostly fine, though some of the performances early on leave a bit to be desired.

Overall, a great game, that I highly recommend to anyone.

A truly fantastic game, with great characters, an unforgettable plot and great gameplay.
This game is certainly not perfect, however I think it is an essential experience.

Also use this mod to fix most of the games bugs and enable 16:9 resolutions.
( Don’t check plus patch in the installation window on your first playthrough)

This is one of the few games I would genuinely call important.
Everyone needs to play this game ones to experience what we can't let happen. In a market oversaturated with shooters, it is refreshing to play one that is not only relevant, but actually shows you the horrors of war and doesn't glorify it.

Graphically, the game still looks great. The sound design, music and voice-acting are all fantastic.
The gameplay is alright, nothing special, however the main focus is the narrative.

It is this narrative that i recommend everyone experience, even though the game is rather short.
