its like the first game but a little bit better and different im writing this review for a badge

This game is in an OK state right now you can buy it if you want and it is still really buggy but its more fun now

my wife will sometimes try to peel me away from my Gaming but i dont let her or my son

RoR with better sprites and better controls and some new content. Good.

The armor system completely ruins the game on higher difficulties. Once your armor is broken you cannot play the game anymore and basically have to have already beaten the heist in the time it takes for the cops to deplete your armor bags or you lose. Not sure who on the dev team thought "ah yes permanent damage" in a pve horde shooter where the cops deal hitscan damage from across the map. Somehow worse than armor-gating in Payday 2 which was already an awful system.
edit: they nerfed armor LMAO

its like vermintide 2 but half of the enemies are ungor archers and the movement is a lot more complex. also you get to play with cute little console players and watch them run around and move their cameras really slowly 10/10

Maybe the single best core gameplay loop of any game I've ever played. You kill rats. The difficulty scales really well and doesn't feel unfair even at super high levels since most damage is avoidable if you play well enough (looking at you Payday 2). The weapons feel really juicy to use and each character and career feels really unique. The writing is also really good and you really learn to love each one of them and their little interactions. The only cons would maybe be the slow and confusing progression system as well as the rather limited selection of maps (about a third of which are locked behind payed DLC).
